Missing 9 was a boring drama nothing to do with her acting. She is good imo. I have seen her in a few dramas and always thought she was good. The thing is that I dont think she would do it. She likes weird roles, I have never seen her do a romcom.

well im somewhat wish they could choose HJW, since she dont have any project yet hurrplz.png

  • Bringing their real-life bromance to the screen are Choi Tae-joon (Missing 9) and buddy Ji Chang-wook (The K2) in SBS’s Beware This Woman. Choi’s character grew up under complicated family circumstances and first met Ji’s character, Noh Ji-wook, when they were 12. Now an attorney, he thinks of Noh as his only family, and they’ll lean heavily on each other. The mixed-genre show is still searching for a lead actress (Han Ji-min turned the offer down) and hopes to begin table reads in early April. Beware This Woman will air after the conclusion of Saimdang, Light’s Diary on Wednesdays and Thursdays in May. Nam Ji-hyun in final negotiations to star in Beware This Woman

Will this drama finally secure a leading lady to beware of? SBS’s thriller rom-com Beware This Woman has had two potential castings fall through with Lee Sung-kyung and Han Ji-min, but I’m hoping this time it’ll work out because Nam Ji-hyun (Shopping King Louis, What’s With This Family) has been offered the leading role opposite Ji Chang-wook (The K2), who is confirmed.

The new mixed-genre legal thriller rom-com comes from the writer of I Remember You and tells the love story of a man and woman who are being chased by a killer. Nam Ji-hyun is up to play Eun Bong-hee, a judicial trainee and former Taekwondo athlete who finds herself a suspect in a murder case. Ji Chang-wook plays Noh Ji-wook, a young man who became a prosecutor to fulfill his father’s dreams. He carries a trauma from his past, and he’ll end up changing careers to become a private attorney.

Complicating matters is an amnesiac killer who keeps reenacting one crucial moment, and is out to kill our two leads. I have to say, this writer comes up with some pretty unusual killers, so this whole amnesia repeat-killer dynamic has me very interested. Our characters will fight against a harsh world filled with prejudice, but lean on each other for support and grow up in the process.

I’ll be very happy if Nam Ji-hyun takes the part—she’s a wonderfully warm actress with emotional range and comedic chops who has transitioned successfully out of child roles in recent years, and I’d love to see her take on a part like this. She’s just naturally someone I root for onscreen, and I can see her being pretty adorable with Ji Chang-wook in the rom-com department. Beware This Woman is scheduled to follow Saimdang, Light’s Diary on Wednesdays and Thursdays in May.

Star News via Naver: [Exclusive] Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun leads for new SBS Wed-Thu drama 'Be Careful of This Woman'

1. [+1,276, -34] Isn't Han Ji Min the female lead? Either the production keeps changing the female lead or it's just trash journalists doing their thing

2. [+1,412, -113] They don't seem to match. Nam Ji Hyun looks young next to him

3. [+794, -39] They changed the female lead 3 times

4. [+598, -60] Not digging this combo;; But if they're confirmed, fighting

5. [+471, -45] Hmm..

6. [+140, -19] Why are dramas only about doctors, prosecutors and lawyers these days? Not to mention there are too many law dramas to the point that I'm tired of them

7. [+95, -7] What's up with law melodramas every day?

8. [+96, -8] SBS is all about law dramas. First there was Defendant followed by Whisper on Mondays and Tuesdays then another one for Wednesdays and Tuesdays. I'm tired of it

9. [+106, -12] How many times do they have to change the female lead??

10. [+164, -32] Eh? I thought Han Ji Min's going to be female lead? ã… ã…  At least, Nam Ji Hyun is better at acting than Lee Sung Kyung
