Is there a way to fix this?

There's no way to fix that because of how the those monitor sample the images with a matrix, so if you screw only one portion of the screen the whole thing is fucked up.

So you need to get a replacement, you might need to dismount the screen to find the actual model and search for a replacement or call to the manufacturer of your laptop to see if they can provide you the model or a replacement. I broke mine recently and it costed me around 45 dollars lol. In the meantime you would need to connect your laptop to an external monitor or even a smart tv can do the job.

Your best option is to just buy a new laptop. You can still try to salvage the files, but it might be hard cause the startup screen is where the damage is

lol, it's just a screen if everything else is fine there's no need for that.
