Just finished listening to the studio versions

 

TigerJK&Bizzy

- Maniac and Asol sounded really good in the studio version. I prefer Wonjae and Black Nine doing live as they get more impact wise. And the song suddenly cut in the end was a bit weird

 

Jay&Dok2

- OMG Ness sounded really good wowoww really surprised me....Junoflo also.

- Dok2 rapping at the end is sickening

- I am anticipating what GroovyRoom's next beats for this season

 

DD team

- Glad that DD got Woochan to do the chorus now I got the flip flop part stuck lols

- Nucksal killed it

 

Zico&Dean

- Whoa YoungB, Hash Swan, and Hangzoo good job

- Beat wise my favorite song

 

If talking about the beats my favorite is Zico&Dean....but the song as a whole I prefer DD's team

 

Hahahha Hanhae is saying Nucksal is the mother looking at him wiping the jjajangmyeon for little Woochan

Tattoos are a taboo in Korea. They're never allowed on TV. I even remember an episode of Radio Star where the hosts of the show asked Zico about his famous King Sejong tattoo and asked him to show it

i didn't feel the live performances at all tbh, each one was a bit too messy, and the beat samples had me excited for dd and zico&dean more than anything, but jesus christ, now that i've listened to the studio versions, all i gotta say is tiger jk & bizzy track is so. freaking. solid. the most solid, imo, in terms of team sound? like, i can hear zico's flow style all over his track and none of the actual featured artists, and dd is good, lit, yes, but chopsticks is so damn cohesive, would've never thought all these people are doing it together for the first time. definitely looking forward to the rest of the season.

Zico & Dean's team was amazing and it was such a hard beat to ride, I feel like not just anyone could pull that off and they all did great! Too bad one of them had to go :( I thought Olltii, Hangzoo, and Hash Swan killed it!

 

D&D team were my favourite, it gave me the same chills as Respect from season 4. Everyone just worked so well together and good on Rhino for totally showing up during the cypher round and killing it in the group performance too. Everyone was awesome but to be honest I was not sad to see Myundo go. I didn't understand all the hype he got last season and I still think both Punchnello and Zico's brother (I'm so sorry I .. forgot his name) did better than him in the 1 vs 1 rounds and there was no need for tie breakers either time.

 

I'm not surprised those two tracks are the ones killing it on the chart!

 

And Double K *sigh* I was hoping it was just Mnet's weird editing for the sake of dramatic previews but .. it was not ohdearplz.png

Olltii is eliminated but he still be pulling those amazing lives

This is from the recent ADV concert, he performed their team mission song with both Young B and Hashswanahmagahplz.png

 

 

 

 

 

He also did a 'Woo Wonjae' version of one of his already existing songshurrplz.png

1. Maybe an unpopular opinion but i wish wonjae would show more variety. he is really good at what he does but he needs to show different performances/feels/styles to really be winner material. hes so effing cute tho 

2. im glad penomeco is getting more exposure though. like wow he even sings well like stan talent

Agree about Wonjae, I hope his producers help him reach another level. Looking at the diss battle preview, it looks like he went off lol, he was more active there than in any other stage so he doesn't always have to be standing behind a mic. That works well, but not every time

I think Wonjae has already established quite a following for his style. I mean he has 50k+ followers on IG with only 2 pics, which is a lot more than the rest of the contestants (the "new" contestants, those haven't done anything before more or less). And several clips of him have gathered a lot of views both on youtube & naver. So I think he'll do well after SMTM (he's making a name for himself & has gained fans) but unless he switches up his performing style to some extent at least, I don't think he can win.

What did Wonjae do? In the netizenbuzz article about swings, apparently people had a problem with his character?

 

I feel like they're just whining about his "devil" character, but he seems to have some health problems or something based on his lyrics, people should be more understanding

I'm wondering about this as well. I haven't seen any character problem, sure he has very explicit lyrics but that's it.

i read the original article and whoever translated the post translated it kinda wrong lmao 

first of all they left out the first chunk of the article that said

"During Swings' Instagram Live he was watching Show Me the Money 6 and while watching Woo Wonjae's performance he said "But I'm worried about friends like this".

And nowhere in the article does it talk about a "character controversy"

So what I kinda get from the recent preview is that every team has to eliminate one rapper... (?)

So the the track mission of last year where two rappers from one team made on song isn't there this season anymore...

 

Since this season we have s different number of people per team as compared to previous seasons (we got 5 per team and now they are 4)

The elimination process is starting to get confusing like we won't know how the elimination will be and on what basis until the episode is actually aired
