I'm pretty sure it wasn't. A lot of the contestants didn't get any or barely got air time. Mnet are wrong for that but at the same time it's hard to fit everything into an episode.

Oh I see! I understand Mnet they can't show everybody but what's the point of airing always the same contestants? Well whatever I'm enjoying the show so far so I guess it's works in a certain way

Actually I agree with you. The only people I see potentially winning are Nucksal, Double K, and Hash Swan. The vote comes from the live audience from the stage so it can be different from what you see from the broadcast. The contestant also has to have the likability factor. Otilli gained a lot of praise from the knetz after seeing the bullshit that happened when he lost to Junoflo lols

Wonjae is cool and all but he is not very versatile.

From the spoilers, I like Zico & Dean's team the most.

 

Haven't even tried to watch the raws, because the cypher thing was draggy as hell bloop.

It's like all the previous winner has a strong public recognition and since it's based on live audience, I always feel it's kinda biased... Big known contestants always have huge advantage imo

Oh I forgot about Hash Swan, true he can be a winner contestant. I still don't understand how he wasn't part of any team last year

Actually, I really want a new face to win this show coz it's ALWAYS the same people it getting annoying/boring. But then, if they're actually delivering it... 

I kinda low-key hope the spoiler is true coz ZicoxDean has a good team and I'm rooting for them

Maybe it's my wishful thinking lol, but I have a feeling the winner may not be the obvious Nucksal, Junoflo or Double K. But if they kill it like BeWhy did last year then they definitely deserve to win

 

Nucksal's name seems to always be trending on Melon's search for "Jackdu", so he seems to have some popularity behind him. I like him too, I want to see him really bring it next time though

 

Olltii and Young B can shake things up too.

 

Honestly, there are a lot of interesting, fresh contestants this season

Like I said, I really want a new face to win but then I also realllly love Nucksal, he's so fun to watch & looks really friendly & joyful. I wouldn't mind if he win. Double K seems to be sooo serious + Mnet always editing him to have a drama Junoflo seems chills & really confident so yea... So far Nucksal & Junoflo did deliver, I'm not sold over Double K tbh...

If the spoiler are true, Oltii & Young B are in a good team and I hope they're going to SLAY HARD

 

 

Once the stage performances start we will start to get a clearer view on who can be the winner of the show

I think for now most people agree it is a close match between DoubleK/Nucksal

To be truthful, stage performances in smtm depend a lot on the overall popularity of the rapper (together with the stage he puts of course but recognition of the rappper among the hip hoppers fan community plays a big role too).

Last year most of us already acknowledged it since the beginning that it will be a close match between Cjamm/Bewhy. But as the stage performances progressed it was already pretty much said before the last episode aired that the winner will be Bewhy. He did amazing stages and released amazing stuff with SimonD and Gray and his recognition among the hip hoppers fan community was pretty strong at that time, so strong! So given by the really HUGE vote differences he always won with it was pretty much said he will win.

 

I don't know what will the case be this season

But the vote count each rapper gets once pefromances start may give us some clear look on who will make it to the finals

 

Or we could have some plot twists

Like with Vasco's elimination in season 3

Or with Flowsik's elimination in season 5

 

There are a lot of dark horses this season but you can't be that sure of how well they could perform in stage (I mean their stage prescense)

 

A lot of people thought Myundo was good last season (despite him being not that versatile) but his performance when it came to the stage rounds lacked a lot...

Wonjae is amazing lyrically and all but it is difficult to assume how he will adapt to different beats. We could see more on that by how well he adjusts to the beat given to the whole team in the next round!

 

Olltii does amazing when it comes to stage performance his prescense is great

In his case I think who he will get paired up against will be the most determining factor of how far he gets in the show

But when it comes to how well his stage performances are established, he is so good! He was already so good in season 3 but he got even much better now!

 

For Woochan, I think it is already so amazing to see him go this far in the show! Really excite don't to see what he will be showing in the future rounds

unrelated to smtm6 but related to nucksal--i was at busan hiphop festival yesterday and huck p performed his verse in jackdu EOCIHSJWMFNANW he shouted out nucksal and said he should wib smtm lol

With the stop of midnight releases that means we will only get studio recorded tracks on the next day

Actually, I was wondering the same thing. Plus this August is a battlefield digitally speaking with all these CB/debut of popular idols... gonna be hard to top I think. The song will chart high but if it's not a super good song, I don't see snatching that #1 and charting as well as previous season. Maybe I'm wrong

Well, I still think (& hope) the winner to be based on his songs & performance. I mean, sure the 2 previous winners were really famous & expected rappers BUT in SMTM3, I didn't see Iron going to the final (more CJam & Vasco imo) but his songs were so fuck*g BANG he went it! So even though some team doesn't seem to be THAT powerful, if the songs really delivers then we can expect anything

True, I'm rooting for ZicoxDean (even though they don't have my favorite rappers in their team ) but I'm mainly here for the songs so please make it LIT
