Zico & Dean's team was amazing and it was such a hard beat to ride, I feel like not just anyone could pull that off and they all did great! Too bad one of them had to go :( I thought Olltii, Hangzoo, and Hash Swan killed it!

 

D&D team were my favourite, it gave me the same chills as Respect from season 4. Everyone just worked so well together and good on Rhino for totally showing up during the cypher round and killing it in the group performance too. Everyone was awesome but to be honest I was not sad to see Myundo go. I didn't understand all the hype he got last season and I still think both Punchnello and Zico's brother (I'm so sorry I .. forgot his name) did better than him in the 1 vs 1 rounds and there was no need for tie breakers either time.

 

I'm not surprised those two tracks are the ones killing it on the chart!

 

And Double K *sigh* I was hoping it was just Mnet's weird editing for the sake of dramatic previews but .. it was not

If the English subs come out, I'm so looking forward to rewatch Woo Wonjae (it was so nice to see him laughing and smiling heaps in this episode!), Junoflo & Woodie Gochild, and Hangzoo's parts. The crowd and producers went nuts during their bits, I'd love to know what they said. It's amusing when rappers imitate each other during these battles but usually it's just sort of in a dress alike way but I love the way Woodie did it!

I don't think Killahgramz was a great fit for Zico and Dean's song but I don't think Hash Swan is a better option for it either. But the song was solid, I have such mixed feelings of that performance. It just ended up highlighting Dean, idk.
DD's team was great and I love seeing Gaeko and Choiza's dad style choice of attire for the performance hahah (I extend this comment to Hangjoo's uncle style shirt during the diss battle haha these boys!)
Although, whoever did that to Jo Woochan's hair at the end, please don't do that again in the future..

 

One thing I noticed this season, is that everyone seems so supportive. The rappers who didn't get picked for the solo performances were just chilling enjoying their teammates perform and after the diss battle no one seemed to be super hurt or pissed or anything. I'm all for the lack of animosity during this season!

And after having a whole season of already knowing Cjamm and Bewhy would be the last 2 standing no matter how strong any of the other rappers were, it's exciting this season to have most of the contestants really strong in their own way. I'm trying real hard not to root for anyone in particular so I don't get disappointed in the end if they get eliminated since it seems like anyone could win at this point. (Although I've failed tbh because I'm already invested in uncle shirt Hangzoo)

Woah Hangzoo, who the hell gave you permission to light the stage on fire like that??? 

 

I've been rooting for the guy since his 2nd round performance and even I wasn't ready for his semi-final stage! DD have known him for ages and it seemed like they were nowhere near ready for it either haha! I'm so proud of how far he's made it and I thoroughly enjoyed all the producers (even his own!)/ audience/ contestants' mouth wide open reactions to his performance. Dok2 banging on the walls chanting his name at the end was pretty much me!

 

The whole poking fun at him for not fitting in Zico + Dean's team thing seems like a distant memory now..

 

Everyone did a good job though, seriously, no mistakes, no nothing, just 6 solid performances. The ones that made it were the same choices I would've made if I was voting in the audience, so I'm very very very much looking forward to the finals!

With the final being between Nucksal and Hangzoo, Dynamic Duo win either way haha! They're the real winners of the season, in a way!

I liked Nucksal and Wonjae's 1st performance better. The beats were both amazing!

(Side note for Hangzoo's Best Driver remix — It was definitely sweet seeing him reuniting with Zion T and Zion T even giving it a cheeky mention mid way through the song!)

 

For the 2nd one, I think Hangzoo and CoDean had the right idea there with bringing out a fun dance-y song.

As much as I loved the intensity and theatrical vibe of Red Sun, I was soooo happy to see Hangzoo let loose and just have fun on stage. I appreciate the DJ DOC appearance, that was nice but maybe a different featuring artist would've hyped it up even more? I was secretly hoping he'd bring Rhythm Power with him during the finals, they would've been fantastic for that song! Even Zico would've been more than enough to add a little more something to it. Either way, I enjoyed it and I imagine that's the type of song that would go over really well live, I'm sure the audience had a blast.

Tough luck Nucksal and Wonjae, both were amazing as well. And how nice was it to see everyone so friendly and supportive towards each other all damn season? Mnet tried so hard with the Olltii edit but got called out for immediately it by the contestants themselves so I guess they stopped the evil edits altogether. A lot of the contestants are posting congratulatory posts for Hangzoo on instagram, everyone's so warm and fuzzy!
