While everyone is waiting for SMTM 6 English subtitles, I decided to start doing very, very detailed English summaries (think recap and review)! I plan on doing them for future episodes, too.

I have the same problem since I am living in Korea. :(

I can translate/summarize shows like SMTM but for Korean dramas... I just have to use other websites. ODK was my favorite.

Show Me The Money Season 6 (SMTM 6) Episode 2 English summary is out now. I'm so sorry it takes so long for subs to come out, but I hope this helps, especially for the people who simply watch it raw and unsubbed anyway. 

 

As always, it comes with translations and behind the scenes stories. This one also has lots of notes and lists of everyone who passed and failed (I love lists and always make them, noticed someone asked earlier).

also: agreed, i want to see more new faces.

 

and as far as not using nucksal's beat, it's his HIT SONG and somewhat disrespectful. i mean, it would be like me singing one of beyonce's songs on an audition show where she is also competing. you just can't compare, so the judges weren't having it. it's also a REALLY hard beat. 

 

uhm, as of rn i am still making minor edits to my blog post, but i just want it up, anyway.

Question about Hangzoo - did he really SUDDENLY decided to audition? Because I thought you have to actually go through an application process and sending in a video before coming to the real first round auditions. I guess he turned in his application but then decided not to audition at first and then later? 

 

he actually suddenly decided to audition. he registered on-site (현장ì—ì„œ).

 

he even said that he didn't have any desire to compete again until he saw what happened to geegooin. it seems like there was at least one day difference, since they mentioned he couldn't sleep at night and showed up the next day.

 

you're welcome, by the way. it's fun for me and good practice for learning Korean.
