I was curious so I did the BMI test for bts members (and mine too lol)

BMI Categories:

Underweight = <18.5

Normal weight = 18.5–24.9

Overweight = 25–29.9

Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

suga 18

tae 18.3

me ^^ 18.4 I think I need to gain weight..

jin 18.7

hobie 18.8

namjoon 19.5

kookie 19.5

jimin 19.6

what's yours or your bias's?

Most idols are underweight

^

i have an eating disorder and go to a psychoeducation group with other people who suffer from them so i'm pretty good at recognizing unhealthy eating patterns. the majority of kpop idols, based on what i've seen, overly restrict. not surprising based on the pressure they're put under to look "perfect" (i.e. emaciated) but that's what makes it worse imo. out of bts, taehyung worries me since he looks like skin and bones sometimes, but yoongi dropped so much weight since predebut + has made comments that he doesn't like food and he hates his legs...and this... unsure.png

plus there's jimin's preoccupation with his weight—having a "normal" bmi doesn't mean you don't have an eating disorder, it just makes it easier to hide because people don't get on you for looking like a skeleton, and instead applaud you for how good you look now compared to 30 lbs ago.

[EDIT] to elaborate, not all people who are underweight have an ed, just like not all people of normal weight are free of them! i just think that eds are very prevalent within the kpop industry, and most related ones

Your mother carried you for 9 months just for you to grow up and use transgender as an insult. I pity her.

It's not an insult when Jimin is transgender?

You should be ashamed of yourself for even thinking I used it as an insult.

Jimin isn't trensgender...if he was we wouldn't say that you used it as an insult

I know you think you are having fun trolling but it's not the right way to have fun

I think suga mentioned that he want to live healthier this year. Eat well and exercise. Jimin once said on his eating broadcast that they eat well but because they practice and practice a lot they are thin
