i get an empty soul woman vibe when i look at park geun hye, wth koreans chose her in the first place?

she looks like very devoted to the cult imho

not every Koreans chose her. During the 2012 South Korean election, PGH won with 51.55% of the votes whereas Moon Jae-in had 48.02% of the votes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_South_Korean_presidential_election,_2012 (scroll down to Election Result). So it was a pretty close race between the two. And because South Korea has a rapidly aging population and the older voters favored Park because she was the daughter of Park Chung Hee, that contributed to her winning the election over Moon. So it's the older generation of Koreans that voted for her, not the young generation. The young generation wanted Moon as President.

The high turnout level should have benefited Moon, and it could explain why he managed to come as close as he did. Moon and the DUP’s strongest base are young voters, who – as in any country – often drag their feet to the polls and need to be motivated by a successful campaign to actually turn out. However, the DUP and the liberals face a demographic problem. South Korea has a rapidly aging population, and older voters favoured Park. Older voters are more likely to have positive or nostalgic feelings about her father’s administration, they are a high-turnout demographic and they now make up an increasingly large segment of the electorate –  for the first time, more voters were above 50 than under 40.

She's the daughter of a dictator right? In what work would you elect someone with family history like that

I'll requote what I quoted in my last post and bold the answer to your question:
