Eunji has a deeper, powerful voice and stronger technique, and she tends to go the way of soft piano/acoustic ballads. Her voice is better suited for classic and more powerful songs. IU has a much sweeter, brighter voice that is mellow and soft rather than strong and powerful. IU likes to explore with her music and tends to go for songs with more sass, she has a variety of sounds, from latin music to jazz to bubblegum pop to classic ballads to sweet acoustic melodies. They just have very different singing styles, both are amazing in terms of music, emotional performances, and their talent.
