Also really hope they show daehwi and jinyoung's friendship they seem really close (and both are my top faves so I'm ALIVE)

I think he might come #2nd in his team since se*nho has a lot of popularity right now but nonetheless he deserves amazing scores, he did so well, you could see he was a little nervous but he didn't let it bother or hinder him.

also unpopular opinion, i think baby woojin might get #1 from spring day votes, ppl might feel bad for the voice crack and plus the voting method is different, instead of voting for one trainee only you just give each trainee a thumbs up or thumbs down kind of feeling.

Ah...after all the hyping up from netizen comments and you guys, I thought Bae would have more excellent vocals than what was showcased on that stage. Not to say it was bad but he was not as good as I expected.

With more practice and more confidence, I'm sure he will be a more competent singer, but you can tell he was nervous here and his vocals were a bit lacking because of it.

That said, I look forward to seeing how much he will improve by the time he debuts, whenever that may be.

People were mostly hyping his unique tone I think. in my opinion his tone is really beautiful and shows his potential. And rather than just 'blindly hyping him up' i think many of us are proud of him for overcoming his shyness and nerves and being able to perform and be one of, if not the best, in his team. I mean in episode 2/3 (can't remember) he could barely sing 3 words because he was nervous and shy.

 

For someone that has been training for only 10 months, I think it's a bit unrealistic to expect him to have perfect technique and kyuhyun levels vocals. He has definitely impressed me with his vocals and his progress

 

He even said himself that he was nervous on the performance though.

 

TL;DR: yes his vocals weren't 'amazing' but it's unrealistic to expect them to be, given the circumstances he performed really well
