Actually I think he got plenty of screentime already compared to the lot of the rest. I can see him being shot on plenty of times even from this video only.

I just checked out BTS' Boy In Luv cuz I'm just curious what's they're gonna perform, and if Jinyoung did Jimin's parts especially the high note near the end, then wow Jinyoung must have had some vocal skills. Can't wait to see what he can do.

 

His schoolmates said he really likes singing so I guess he's most probably a vocalist.

His Growl dance really seems to be pretty good based on the snippets. Too bad he lets his nerves got to him. I hope he got more confident later since previously his lack of confidence seems to be pretty severe.

It did seem pretty severe but hopefully the friends he makes during the cover mission helped. I think that could help a lot if he has people he is friendly with around him since it seems like he wasn't really close with the C Team. Also I really hope Mnet releases his Growl cover.

 

Yeah it seems like he's closer to his teammates in Boy In Luv like Lee Dae Hwi and Joo Haknyeon, I think that will most probably ease his nerves and made him more confident than before.

I'm actually surprised that he's actually lacking in confidence during his Growl cover since he did a finger shoot to the camera in the teaser during the audition, I thought he looked confident based on that, also his moves were pretty energetic.

 

Wow his friends really support him a lot. He must be a real nice kid.

I think it's better if Jinyoung wears makeup during public events and such since it does amp up his star look and he looks prettier. Without makeup he looks pale sometimes, especially cuz of his eyebags.

tbh, the company should have taken care of the make up when he goes to those events.

I'm thinking that if only Bae Jinyoung was more confident, he can end up in B or even A if his vocal skill allows it. I mean his Growl dancing was really pretty good and wasn't stiff at all. It looks exactly like the original. I've seen some of covers from PD101 contestants that have some stiff dancing, but Jinyoung's isn't one. He did well dancing it. What a pity for him to be lacking in confidence considering this. He should be more confident cuz confident people are more charming.

What I like from Bae Jinyoung so far is he seems to be really sincere and honest. Being on broadcast makes people being fake at some points - not that it's a bad thing especially being idols requires that until some extent too - but I'm wondering at some point how did he manage to be very honest and true to himself so far, without adding anything or being some attention seeker etc. I like that from him.

Lbr his dancing was great, no all over the place moves, all moves were well controlled, pretty nice and sharp moves, and he knows how to execute the flow and rhytm well. That was not only decent level but great. He added some improvisations from the original Growl dance, which isn't a problem at all especially considering how nicely it's done. And dancing wasn't even his forte since from his backstory it sounds like singing is. Seriously this kind of perf could've earned a B or even A if only he's much more confident and showcases his vocal a lot more. What a pity.

 

This kids has quite of potential, I hope he gets over his confidence hurdle soon so that his actual skills can shine a lot more. I don't want that kind of skill goes to waste, and he really seems to be pretty sincere kid.

Jinyoung's rank may drop or not this week, but after Boys In Luv perf is aired, if he actually did well and pulled off the singing esp the high notes well, I can expect him regaining his fame. I've never heard of Bae Jinyoung butchering his part in all of those fanaccs I've read, so I suppose he did well.

Bae Jinyoung looks better and more charming with longer hair tho due to his delicate features and small face. Idk why he keeps chopping it.

His company should get themselves together to give him good styling, since not only he needs to be put make up on but he also needs to be styled right. This guy looks sorta pale when he doesn't have any make up on especially due to his eye bags, putting him some right make up would amp up his charisma a lot. Like Daehwi's kind of makeup (tho with slightly less bright liptint color).

He has always loved singing according to his story, so I'm glad if he chose singing that is actually his passion. I'm excited to see how it is.

It seems like Bae Jinyoung did get in to top 11 this time around, looking at his chair. I'm glad ;_;

 

Also it seems like he's at higher rank considering the angle of the camera. Unless Mnet is playing a trick on us lol

If he chose vocal in this evaluation and shows the unexpected of his skill, I think he probably will rise again soon. I hope so.

From concept evaluation songs I think Open It (the future EDM one) would suit him the most.

 

 

 

 

Btw my #1 fave is Haknyeon but I don't think Bae Jinyoung's skill is the same level as his and Guan Lin. I'm pretty sure Bae Jinyoung is more skilled than them from what I've seen so far. Did you guys also forget that he's placed in C before? He could even end up in B if only his confidence wasn't lacking.

I'm waiting for the time he actually shows that.

To be honest I also don't really see what's so hyped about Bae Jinyoung's visual from the get go, that he even ends up in #2 for visual center. He also has his on-off days about his looks. As I mention he really looks pale without makeup and good lighting.
But that doesn't matter since what made me like him is not because his looks, but because he seems to be so sincere, nice, and sorta innocent on screen. I like how he seems to not fake much and his sincere side is so cute. That's his charm to me. I'd like Baejin to show more of his real self so that his charm can be known more outside of his looks.
 
But despite that, I'm glad that Bae Jinyoung is picked as #2 visual regardless. That means he does stand out amongst trainees and has something the other trainees are envious of.

I heard conflicting reports about him. Someone said he did the best amongst the rest, someone said he's not in good condition.

Anyway I hope he's pulling through and did well. Can't wait for the rise of Bae Jinyoung besides of his visual ;_;

This said Bae Jinyoung's confidence has improved a lot and sang with feelings.

From the fansite pics I can see he's getting immersed in the song well already and his stage presence seems to have improved. Can't wait to see his perf ;__;

Bae Jinyoung get that recognition. I'm so glad that he got to cover Spring Day that even me who is usually pretty indifferent with his looks, now mesmerized by his beauty because that kind of concept amps up his beauty a lot. It suits him so much
