I am so sad like I want him to be happy like on that maboy video all the time but some anti had to be bitter about him and ruin this helpful, hardworking and happy person. I was like listening to downpour and tearing up thinking about how he must be feeling right now.

He is probably thinking that his dream is gone now. He worked so hard since young to be where he is now. Auditioned like 100 times. And when finally when he got to see that his hard work was paying off...this unfortunate thing had to happen. 

 

I went back to his boys and girls performance on naver just now. All the new comments are positive and supportive, and it seems like people are upvoting all these new positive comments (that's what I did anyways). I hope that Youngmin will see these comments and feel better. It's really sweet, I'm touched that a lot of his fans are doing this to support him.

 

i'm going find a bright side in this and see it as a way to filter out fans who never planned to stay for the long term anyway. If they turn their backs on him for a thing like this then i don't think they were truly fans. I personally became his fan because of his personality and hardwork not because of his relationship status so people leaving because of this never made sense to me. Anyway, i'm just gonna hope for the best. Whether he ends up in the top 11 or debuts later with bnm boys i'll still be a fan.

I hope this isn't stressing him out. Seriously every performance he has been under so much pressure, I was sure that the elimination was going to filter out all the more lacking trainees so Youngmin won't have it so hard anymore. Am I the only one who notice the fake concern about Youngmin in PD101 main thread? Sure some actually care about youngmin but most people there are talking about it nonstop while lowkey dragging youngmin lol. They never even have youngmin in their top11 pick in the first place but suddenly they are 'oh so worried' about youngmin's rank,... he shouldn't have been this stupid blahblahblah.. 

 

One particular girl who bashed Youngmin fans in the past for dragging Sungwoo( which probably never happened anywhere btw + it's a dumb generalization even if it happened) is suddenly so worried about Youngmin that she has to constantly post about Youngmin losing fans + some new unfounded rumor circulating in pann blahblahblah.

 

I honestly see no hate on twitter whatsoever. 1 account who posted Youngmin gifs on twitter deleted their tweets, but that's about it. Most of his fansites are still there and active. 

 

I genuinely believe this issue will eventually cool down. I used to think that Youngmin's main fanbase are in their 10s, but now that I look at it, most of his videos on naver have a pretty balanced demographic between 10s and 20s.

Sure his votes might be hurt a little bit but if I can bet my money on it, I'm gonna bet Youngmin will still at least make it past top22 with his current situation.

The main problem was to do with the Japan trip/sexual hashtags but that's all proven to be false now. Even if he does have a gf, there really isn't a problem because it was in the past when he was just a trainee. I wonder if they're still together now or if they broke up after Youngmin decided to join P101. 

Anyway BNM needs to release a statement ASAP! I can't believe Youngmin got so much hate over nothing - esp with all this fabrication involved. I hope all those immature fans can really sit down and think about how absurd the whole situation is.

Anyways it seems like Mnet really don't care about him, they uploaded 29 pictures but none of Youngmin at all. They dropped him so quickly after this scandal. I hope now that the fangirls have cooled down, Mnet won't give the ghost treatment to Youngmin in the episodes to come.

 

Regarding the rumors about Mnet changing the voting system, I hope that they will still use 1 pick like last season, because most of the 'fans' who left seems to be those who had him as filler votes (those who have him among their 11 pick but not their bias). 1 pick will be much more beneficial for Youngmin right now.

Why didn't BNM come out w a clear statement, sigh. Their last statement is ambiguous and useless asf... But they acted upon it, I don't think either them or Youngmin will come out again to clear things up, cuz it just draws more unnecessary attention to this unfavored rumor. I do generally enjoy reading her thoughts about the show, but she definitely lets her concern for her bias' success blind her into making unfair negative assumptions about other trainees/fans, when she most likely would have given the benefit of the doubt and been more understanding with her own faves. I've been following the Park Sungwoo thread since before the show started airing, and there was a very noticeable change in her attitude towards not just Youngmin, but Be Mine 2 members as a whole, when Sungwoo's rank started dropping and after position evaluation spoilers started coming out. She became convinced that Be Mine 2 ostracized Sungwoo and treated him horribly, and that Shape of You was much more accepting of him. Which is like...what? The footage we saw showed both teams getting along with him just fine. She said Small Woojin mentioned all the Be Mine 2 members except Kenta and Sungwoo in his ep5 speech, and that it makes sense for Kenta since he is in a different friend group with Insoo and Eunki, but that this is hard evidence of Sungwoo being shunned. Complete BS, there are alternative explanations too...the members Small Woojin did mention, he either trained with in B initially (Donghyun, Sewoon, Youngmin, Daniel) or trained with once he moved up to A (Big Woojin, plus Youngmin and Daniel again). Plus Youjin wasn't mentioned either, nobody was out to get Sungwoo. Not to mention she had also previously been perfectly happy with pictures of Sungwoo and Youngmin together at the baseball game... 

 

I never tried to clarify since she's free to have her own opinions, plus it would have felt like disrespecting the "privacy" of an invidual thread to me haha, but same, I don't like how she has been letting that ill-will carry over into the main PD101 thread in the form of thinly-veiled negative commentary that will affect other users there and spread into other parts of the PD101 i-viewership. She kinda exposed herself too? Like after people started sharing the Youngmin clarification posts from Pann/Twitter, she was like "Oh yeah, I already heard from my Korean friends yesterday that this thing might not even be true, about time it started reaching here lol." Please sis, in the past hour you have already posted several fear-mongering items about Youngmin such as "Twitter accounts are closing!!!" when you probably mean like, the five Youngmin accounts you're following lmao, versus the dozens of Youngmin accounts I'm following that are still open for business (aside from @youngmin101gif rip will be missed). Lol omgosh so I WAS thinking of that same user! She's such a troll, stereotyping fans of certain trainees in such a negative manner. I think she mentioned once she's a bit older and therefore should be more mature but her posts do not reflect that..

 

Honestly I've been ignoring&skipping over her posts after fuming a few times from them (and then negging her oops haha) but we should all just stop reading her posts LOL she's full of nonsense and is out to troll and bring all the other contestants down even when she claims she isn't =_=

I might have accidentally triggered her last time when I mentioned that I was excited for my favs in Be Mine Team 2 and left out her fav and another contestant and she kinda went raging 

She's seen trying to drag down other contestants after they start to rise (when she has previously praised them like Youngmin and Cube chicks but goes right back from her words) Such a contradiction

I've been a long-time lurker here but It's my first time posting in this thread. I've been trying to gauge the reactions around the scandal for the past few days and I have to say that I'm a little bit confused since people are so quick to jump on things even though the proof isn't as clear. I had my doubts, but whenever I try to question an evidence, i felt like a hopeless fan since everybody thinks this is the end for him. 

 

But reading the past few posts above, I discovered that opinions in the main thread (or any general discussions) are needed to be taken by a grain of salt. 

 

So I'll keep supporting youngmin  (and I just donated some won for his cup sleeve promotion)

This is so sad. From the episode 1, he has been nothing but a sweet, kind, helpful and considerate guy. I can't believe jealousy has blinded them so much to hate on such a guy. Its so hurtful to think that he has to carry this burden and hate and perform for concept evaluation.

I mean I am just a fan and from the scandal day, my heart has been feeling heavy so i can't dare to imagine how he must be feeling.

In regards to this + the user you mentioned in the post I spoilered...yeah, I actually replied to her before when she first complained about Youngmin fans in the PD101 thread but never got a response lol. I do generally enjoy reading her thoughts about the show, but she definitely lets her concern for her bias' success blind her into making unfair negative assumptions about other trainees/fans, when she most likely would have given the benefit of the doubt and been more understanding with her own faves. I've been following the Park Sungwoo thread since before the show started airing, and there was a very noticeable change in her attitude towards not just Youngmin, but Be Mine 2 members as a whole, when Sungwoo's rank started dropping and after position evaluation spoilers started coming out. She became convinced that Be Mine 2 ostracized Sungwoo and treated him horribly, and that Shape of You was much more accepting of him. Which is like...what? The footage we saw showed both teams getting along with him just fine. She said Small Woojin mentioned all the Be Mine 2 members except Kenta and Sungwoo in his ep5 speech, and that it makes sense for Kenta since he is in a different friend group with Insoo and Eunki, but that this is hard evidence of Sungwoo being shunned. Complete BS, there are alternative explanations too...the members Small Woojin did mention, he either trained with in B initially (Donghyun, Sewoon, Youngmin, Daniel) or trained with once he moved up to A (Big Woojin, plus Youngmin and Daniel again). Plus Youjin wasn't mentioned either, nobody was out to get Sungwoo. Not to mention she had also previously been perfectly happy with pictures of Sungwoo and Youngmin together at the baseball game... 

 

I never tried to clarify since she's free to have her own opinions, plus it would have felt like disrespecting the "privacy" of an invidual thread to me haha, but same, I don't like how she has been letting that ill-will carry over into the main PD101 thread in the form of thinly-veiled negative commentary that will affect other users there and spread into other parts of the PD101 i-viewership. She kinda exposed herself too? Like after people started sharing the Youngmin clarification posts from Pann/Twitter, she was like "Oh yeah, I already heard from my Korean friends yesterday that this thing might not even be true, about time it started reaching here lol." Please sis, in the past hour you have already posted several fear-mongering items about Youngmin such as "Twitter accounts are closing!!!" when you probably mean like, the five Youngmin accounts you're following lmao, versus the dozens of Youngmin accounts I'm following that are still open for business (aside from @youngmin101gif rip will be missed). So why not mention that the Japan thing might be false earlier then? Either you are lying out of your ass and never knew that clarifications were coming, or you just exposed yourself because you kept on lowkey trying to freak people out (which does have a snowball effect on others) despite knowing the rumors are false.

 

 

That's out of my system, I feel better now yay! But yeah, Youngmin will be fine. Unclear if one-pick is still a thing now but at least it will mess with everybody's rank, not just his, especially if voters try to do strategic "check" voting like with position evals. Anyways as his fans the best thing we can do is continue spreading positivity and make sure the clarification posts reach as wide an audience as possible. Have there been threads for it yet? When they are made, we should also post links to them in the original "Youngmin has a girlfriend!" threads so that people who stumble upon them in the future will get the full story.

Ahh... So that's why she hates Youngmin... It's such a stupid reason though. Also, I don't understand what she will gain by trying to change international viewers perspective about Youngmin's Korean fanbase, like ?? we can't even vote? To make it worse, I feel like people in the main thread take her posts seriously because she supposedly have a lot of Korean friends, etc. And for her to use this to spread misinformation, yikes.

 

Anyways I'm glad that a lot of people in this thread don't fall for the rumors/ misinformation spread in the main thread.

This makes me so sad. Youngmin is such a good guy, he doesn't deserve this. I hope his Korean fans can get back up stronger and get him into the final lineup.

 

Someone said Youngmin might be 4. Oh please no! I don't wanna see him get more hate. I hope he will remain between #9-#11

Ahh... I kinda had a gut feeling before the scandal that Youngmin will rank really high.. but #4 is too high for his current situation.. If this is really the case, more people who have him as filler votes will drop him. We need 1 pick more than ever now.
