Oh guys, since it's slow news day thought I should share this:

 

 

 

 

I was lurking in Youngmin's korean fan cafe and found a few things:

 

- There was an article that came out re: Youngmin's controversy which wasn't fact checked properly (more like an anti article) and they were able to take down the article within a day (I swear, i saw the conversation this morning and somehow they already sorted it out within the day!)

- The Kfans are voting hard to the point that they ask their husbands and buying coffee to their colleagues so they can vote for him. (I thought this was really cute, i would to if i work there!)

- From yesterday, the fan cafe's number actually grew by a large amount within a week or so 

 

Seems the hate comments come in and out in a daily basis, but the fans definitely know about it and are collecting receipts. I tried to say hi and post but because I can't korean as much, I can't reply properly but the people in the cafe are so nice 

 

 

 

 

Let's not lose hope guys, and make sure to vote on Maboy when you can! We need to protect this smile!

Sorry this is a belated reply but I don't think anyone answered this so. Last year, only Somi was able to reach the last stage before the final episode so she was the only one who got the coffee(?) truck. But the thing is Mnet seems to give out the prizes to a bunch of trainees at a time so if a lot of the trainees get to the food truck, I don't know how that would work out.

Thanks! That means there's hope to get there before the last episode!

 

I know they kicked out trainees last season, but I don't think they will do it this way for this season. I feel like Mnet wouldn't want people to hate on popular trainees. Won't it be weird if Never team kick out Ha Sungwoon after he's worked so hard in the team? Plus from the preview it has only shown Daniel and Jisung recruiting to their teams. If they kicked out trainees, I don't think they would kick out Youngmin... It makes more sense for Daniel to take him because they need a good rapper in Open It. It's just my feeling though..

I think MNET wants drama no matter what, but it might be interesting if they chose the trainees to move. But if they do that, wouldn't they want to get high ranking trainees so they win?

 

Either way today is the day! In a few hours we will find out!

 

Did dingdong go to his ads or not? I only saw Daehwi, woojin is sick so it can't help. I really wanna see Paca posting his note. Too bad now he can't see fan notes anymore they got removed

The thirst is so real! With scandals happening left and right I think it's best that he is laying low, like we can see the positive comments are spreading more so if he gives it more time he may be able to go soon. I do know that his YM_FANUNION is doing a message book project so it might go there too

I hope your feeling is right. Sungwoon being kicked out of Never didn't sit well with me so i really hope it was him being picked by the other team rather than him being kicked out by the Never guys. In the end Youngmin not being in Never ended up being a good thing. Now we get to see a new side of him and also maybe we'll get to see him and daniel show off their satoori :D

Not sure if the fan cafe reflects his whole fandom because this is the only Korean fan cafe I stumbled upon that's dedicated for him but it's currently at 456, whereas last week apparently it was 300ish or so. But the people there are so active and organise. It's also an exclusive fan cafe so you can't just read the posts unless you join. So they're definitely hardcore fans

Lol jk. Moonbok holds his own just fine though? And they may have needed a rapper? He is also the lowest-ranked trainee who switched teams, if that makes the theory more plausible. Let me live, I just want to believe that Open It chose Youngmin and welcomed him with open (hehe) arms instead of him getting unceremoniously booted from Never ;n;

 

 

We'll all find out how it went tonight!

 

If we go by S1's way of eliminating trainees, Open it/Showtime might have chosen first and IKYK was left with Moonbok. That makes all the more sense because it's natural to choose the highest ranking trainees (or the best role the team needs).

Thanks! I got really shocked because i wondered why he would only get 11 votes when there were certainly a lot of people there.

 

While the whole episode was really great, I feel like there wasn't enough youngmin cuts and that worries me to some degree.

 

This is also the time when he had the scandal happening as well

We don't know yet. There's a possibility it will be the reward points or disadvantage in the next round.

 

I think since he didn't actually do anything, i still believe that top 22 is doable. But top 11 is something we will find out soon enough. From what the 1 pick in, he's definitely playing around the lower top 11 part. But I'm actually worried now still with the screentime but maybe that's just me

^interesting, the one that mon Chan posted apparently is the one who spoiled the rumour eval scores so I don't know now. But to be very honest if we even know the ip of the person he's definitely banned and fired from the show so I'm not sure about this. One thing is for certain is that the whole ranking next week is going to be so insane. If the rumour of him being top 16 is true, I'd be glad and will actually think that it's a good place to be in because panic votes can happen and we have to think of the variable that he doesn't have a lot of 2 pick pairs so this is hard carried vote by the fans with the scandal happening and all. If he's eliminated and in the top 20s, I'd be disappointed and sad because I know very well that the hardcore fans are working very hard. I don't know how I'll support the group since I'm only stanning him right now.

 

His luck is so much worse than chungha.

I'm still not done backtracking in the main thread and there's already new rumours. :messnet only:

 

From what I've read so far people do like his performance and rap but messnet production crew seems to be really bad this year with their edits because the whole performance was underwhelming even for the never team. Like I can tell they're trying to use the wet glass but angle and the move at the time don't really match up well. The second rap that youngmin was actually the one of the few things that were good edits but the rest seems to miss. Since they win, I guess it doesn't matter. But it matters a bit more to youngmin because if he doesn't get the benefit, this performance at least should speak with itself.

 

Anyway, I don't know what to believe right now, because with all the fan support activities happening I know Youngmin is loved in Korea. But I will prepare myself in case MNET does him dirty.

 

For now, all we can do is to vote on Maboy and get him to the stupid pink shirt (and maybe the food truck)! Let's vote!
