Hello all! 

 

Going to try and stop lurking in this thread for now 

I found out about Youngmin after getting him on the Maboy quiz. His Be Mine performance kind of solidified him as stan material for me though oTL 

I adore his little alpaca smile  He's getting good press on Pann though, hope he makes it far in the show! 

 

 

Also a little random thought: but I heard he was born on December 25th? I wonder if he only gets one gift for both Christmas and his

birthday hah  (because I get only one as well). 

 

Are the BNM trainees debut confirmed? I'd really anticipate that but if either one of them enters the top 11, will BNM postpone the debut until after IOI activities are over? Youngmin is the oldest BNM trainee for now, right? I'm just a slight bit worried.

Idrk , their ceo said it depends on the result . Awwww daehwi has a high chance getting in tho so they might postpone? but didntt some ioi members company group debuted while ioi was still active?

 

 

 

 

 

Youngmin seems to trend a lot there and i really really really hope that transfers to voting too. 

 

 

 

Helloooo, so lucky to get him. I doubt i'll ever get him without giving in to the urge of looking up his answers lol. 

 

 

 

Seeing as how they're all popular enough rn the chances of them debuting is higher. If one of them does enter the top 11 then postponing the debut is the best way to go. Last season the girls got so much hate over debuting while the show was going on and also while debuting when the one year period for the group wasn't over. While I don't like the idea of having to wait so long for ym's debut it's still better than him and the group getting unnecessary hate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Youngmin always is so caring and sweet in the background and I wish people got to see it more 

and now his "i wanted the team to win more" speech suddenly popped in my head 

 

I actually just gave random answers for a few questions where I didn't have any preference like (monolids etc, older/younger, the noodles question xD) and he popped up! 

 

 

I was born on the 28th of December! Not exactly Christmas day, but close enough that people only give me one thing instead of two  

 

I see.. Because I usually read every translated netizen reaction post to P101S2 and I'm pretty sure I came across some people commenting that they didn't wanna vote for BNM trainees because they were guaranteed a debut anyway (I'm pretty sure most of them changed their minds after seeing them on the show though lol.) I kind of expect Daehwi to be in the final 11, I'd be really happy if the other BNM boys joined him in final 11 but the other boys have so many stans oTL I don't want to be a defeatist just yet so I hope the one-pick results can be more favourable for Youngmin?  I agree that they should postpone their debut if one of them gets into final 11 (I thought I read a post saying that the final 11 have exclusive contracts and can't debut in other groups during their IOI promotions or was that not legit?) if just to avoid the hate, as upsetting as that would be oTL.

It seems like there is a rumor going around that Youngmin has a girlfriend? Ofc I don't care if he has one, but the timing seems to indicate that it's just a rumor spread by fans of other boys to bring him down? Posts about youngmin usually only have upvotes/ good comments from his fans but now ppl start to find him as a threat to their biases. I start to see people randomly saying he has a gf and ppl shouldn't pick him, that he isn't all that nice, bad comments about his skin etc..

 

My Korean sucks tho, so it would be great if someone can help to confirm this (the rumors, how it started, etc,etc)

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have seen some comments about his skin but nothing too bad, mostly his fans discussing about why his skin condition worsened and that they still find him cute despite that. I haven't seen anything regarding a girlfriend? Did you see them on Naver, Pann or Twitter? I haven't really seen any negative comments/articles on Youngmin personally though. 

 

I don't think it's impossible (both him having a girlfriend unless BNM is very strict about dating or it being a rumour made up by other trainee stans) since he's gaining a lot of positive attention for being angelic leader 2.0. Like timelady mentioned, it will probably only get worse after the next elimination

This is blowing up on Twitter as well, I'm really getting worried about his ranking but I notice that many of his stans (who were going to vote him as their one-pick anyway) are still defending him, saying that it doesn't matter if it's true and/or completely denying the possibility of it being true. Maybe as long as he keeps his one-pick stans, he will be alright (but I think the chances of him gaining new fans may be lower now so it may be harder to get into the top 11...  ). 

 

Hopefully, the remaining Youngmin stans remain mature about this and continue supporting him.

I personally wonder how BNM will handle this as well, lots of the twitter comments I read criticise BNM's official statement regarding the matter since now non-fans will be curious about it and read into it. But honestly, what else can they do? oTL

I don't understand knets logic like there wasn't any proof that that pann post was from youngmin's acquaintance. I guess I can say i'm Mnet's ceo and post ranking spoilers too and they will believe me lol. This whole thing is so stupid.

This!! I'm getting so tired of the constant witch hunt against Youngmin. The ranking spoilers could have come from anyone ranging from the staff members to the trainees themselves but just because the spoiler OP claimed to be Youngmin's acquaintance, how can everyone is so quick to point fingers at him without any solid proof?

 

Regarding the family post where netizens don't believe that they managed to choose the correct song, is it so weird for family members to be able to guess his preferred genre and style of music? I don't think it's completely impossible..?

Seongri reposted a pic that yongbin took with youngmin and yongbin. I don't understand much Korean but it seems like seongri is showing support to youngmin. One of his hash tag says youngminie go jung pick which I'm assumming to mean fixed pick? I could be wrong lol. But thanks seongri. I hope you get to debut one day too.
