I don't expect him to be Risa level, like he seems like he can pick up dances, just not as quickly or as sharp as some of the other trainees. Hopefully he's also not almost tone-deaf sounding, and I still hope the nice qualities to his speaking voice continues to his singing voice.

The other half of me wants him to do really well, but it's just the speed of learning na ya na that made him fall to F. But we will have to see.

ikr i didn't even know sungwoo was there until i read the tweet, they need to give him more screen time

They do! He's doing so well on the maboy poll and everything, why are they not giving him more attention yet. I need his personality and friendliness to be shown in places other than his individual promo vids already amgplz.png

I realized Sungwoo has another asset - he's an 88-er so he's pretty much gonna get the female fans who are in their 20s lol. It's so uncomfortable for twentysomethings to stan someone like Lee Daehwi or Samuel lol. He's got that market down imho.

Admittedly him being '88 line is one of the biggest things that drew me to him, but I'm not exactly in my 20s anymore. ;; I imagine he probably does have a pool of older-ish fans voting for him for one reason or another. (After all, if he can make it... that means there's hope the rest of us can hit our dreams still too, right??)

 

Though tbh, age isn't a huge factor into who I'd like to see in the top 11. I'm actually pretty fond of Daehwi and he's probably someone I'd pick for my top 11. Has nothing to do with me being 86 line in this case, I just think he's good. Kid has talent.

This exactly.  He's competing with younger and probably more talented trainees from various companies, and he's putting himself through this show to try and achieve a dream even though it is more commonly agreed upon that it's "too late" at his age.  It's admirable that he isn't giving up even with that "handicap" and I'd like him to be the example of "it's never too late".
