Now that I think about it tho, in the stuff released so far, unlike the popular ones who're already hanging in packs/duos, he's barely with anyone consistently (aside from Youngmin that one time, who helped him in the Be Mine performance). He honestly doesn't seem like the beagle type too. Comparing the other trainees vids Seungwoox2 feels a little bit stiff/awkward. 

Him attaching to Youngmin feels like the new kid in school attaching himself to the first person nice to him

I dont think he is the beagle type lol. I think he is more independent but relaxed/fun. Aka he worries when he needs to worry and has fun when its the time. He seems more serious/mature that way. Could be due to his experience/age.

Basically if i put it in relationship type terms, hes fun and outgoing but if its time to have a deep convo hell be serious about it. Thats the type of feeling he gives me haha.

You are so right about the new kid aura too LOL, hes older than the others i think he is nervous about fitting in and people accepting him. Like he isnt sure whether he should def act like the hyung or whatever. Hopefully as the show goes on, hell be more comfortable with all the youngins ^^

I also think this was a pretty smart move (either by his company or himself). Its being talked about lots, it being cringe-y will make people curious, memes will be created, etc but at the same time it doesn't make him completely look terrible(?) With his singing/dancing level I couldn't think of a better alternative honestly.. trot songs? current boy group songs? A big bang song? Dont think those will have the same effect.

What you want in the first ep is memorable, and good memorable. So he is halfway there LOL

But honestly even until now the most memorable auditions from season 1 that i still remember is:

The 3 bad ones -sohye, risa, iu girl yoon seohyung

And 2 good ones - one which i actually forgot about during the show until the position challenge made her relevant aka chungha, and jellyfish girls.

All I know is that people haaaated my fav - sohye, and now they are kinda dismissing/ignoring my fav - sungwoo.

But in both cases it seems that their fans vote and support and dont really care much about the others fans.

Basically whoever supports sungwoo (by ep 5 after seeing how he does in the group challenges and getting along with younger people) will likely support him 4 months, years from now.

He is lucky in that his story has no one like him on this show purely by being the weird endearing ajhussi.

 

Id like him to make the group but if he ends up in the top 22, or at least does the 5 concepts type challenge im not gonna be too sad. Especially if he starts to actually take on more significant dramas roles, haha.

Also, another thing, for the first elimination, is it decided only by fan votes? so the group of contestants with the lowest votes will be eliminated in ep 5? if thats right, does it keep going on like that for the rest of the show? always the group of contestants with the least amount of votes being eliminated? 

All eliminations are 100% decided by fan votes (which is why some ppl are pissed they cant vote for their fav here & also why some ppl were so salty in season 1 lol)

Fan votes are through online site or if you go to their mission stages (position/group/last ep challenges) fans can vote via text or something.

 

The only thing thats changed is that international fans cant vote like last season. Only those with a registered korean phone number can.

 

There are 4 eliminations

Ep 5 : 101 ppl--> 61 (40 go home we already know of 3 who left the show)

Ep 8 : 61 ppl --> 35 (26 go home)

Ep 10 : 35 ppl--> 22 (13 go home)

Ep 11 (Final ep) : 22 ppl--> Top 11

 

Those with the lowest votes are eliminated. Its also why judges grades doesnt really matter so much because an "F" can potentially be a final member. Judges grades is more of an assessment to help trainers teach the trainees (via time given or whatever). And why screentime is a huge deal. Honestly 40 ppl cut in one go is harsh

Oh I havent read mixed accounts, but all Ive heard are the accounts circulating on OH and twitter where he had sungjongs(?) line & that the team was good. I never heard about if he was lacking or bad. In any case im excited for that mission (& seeing the backstory!)

Honestly tho, nobody except tiptoe is ultimately a fav.

Frankly, if im honest the only person I dont like (& this has nothing to do with his skills; i think he is great) is Samuel. Why? Because he looks so pressurized, nervous and stressed. I hope what ive seen of Samuel is just because he didnt know anyone/just met people. I hope he relaxes a bit and has fun, for himself. He is so young... poor guy tbh

 

 

Im certain that ep 3 and ep 4 will definitely add new ppl in my list.

I just want sungwoo to improve for himself. We all know he isnt the best or perfect, but he can get better.

Okay so i hear his voice in this one better. Its not muffled, and its actually not bad at all. He has a nice tone tbh. Theres no powerful notes or anything but it sounds nice. Which makes me excited for be mine stage

Also maybe im now desensitized, but this is not as cringy as when i first watched it on the episode. Lmao. I can replay it, and i likey ;)

Seems to be praise...if imt trying to make sense of it... BUT keep in mind that:

 

1) trans brought to you by a sleep deprived, awake at 4am, girl

2) rappers use slang so the verb 튀다 (튀고) could mean something else other than bounce/run away

3) i ctrl+f to find 까치발 and only read that line which could be taken out of context. I mean, the meaning could be different when you read the whole verse instead of just one line
