I'm so worried on how that reveal will affect Minhyun's ranking. Of course, his fans will vote for him like crazy since he dropped but then people will think that mnet revealed it because they want him in the top 11 and so might find it unfair and hate him. They could've revealed all the rankings or none at all. F*ck.

Minhyun dropped to 12th rank this episode and Mnet only showed his name.

Now he's going to get a fuck tonne of hate from other fandoms and I'm really worried this will affect his two-pick chances.

 

Can't even deal.

I don't think it's unfair bc people have only 1 vote everyday... And fans who have him already as their 1st or 2nd pick would be voting for him anyways.. Others aren't going to drop their own faves just to save his ass tbh   He's just going to get some very unnecessary hate and it's not like he was #22.. That won't affect the elimination anyways ...

 

If minhyun is my 3rd pick I will probably spare my vote and save him  so I think it's a bit unfair

Mnet can stop counting the votes after that scene is aired if they wanna clean up the mess

All the comments I see on the naver article is "why curse at minhyun" or something similar but I haven't seen one cursing at him

But can we just talk about MH legendary centre role, he freaking slayed so hard (vocals, dance + visuals). Korea better open their eyes, he's a freaking national treasure. 

 

Edit: I'm worried about his chances of making top 11 too but I was so proud of him tonight, top 11 or not, I don't regret stanning this kid.

 

My first bias is always jonghyun but tonight it's minhyun 

Visuals, vocals and dance are on point, he is perfect, balance of everything

Minhyun always does well in performances. He's always on legendary stages. On-site voters are shitty as always so whatever.

 

I still can't believe that out of nu'est(sans minki) minhyun would be the one hanging in the bottom of top 11 lmao. Shows what screentime can do.

Hello! I just un-lurked in the main thread and am doing so now here.  Minhyun is just so dreamy and is an all-rounder, so I became a fan. Haven't liked any celebrity this much since Song JoongKi 4-5 years ago...  I was super happy when he volunteered to be center this time because his lack of screen time on P101 is so sad, and he's very talented.  He did so well in Never, but I wish he didn't get that outfit... At least I was distracted by his singing/dancing/vocals/stage presence.  Sigh... I just hope he gets what he wants and succeeds because he's so talented and seems to be really sweet!

I honestly think MNET are trying to split the votes for Pledis (especially Minhyun-Dongho) and BNM boys so that at most only 2 will be on the group if they do that kind of voting. TT

Im happy that Minhyun is on 'Hands On Me team since the winning team will get a big benefits then I guess he has a big chance to get that benefit... Park Ji Hoon & Kang Daniel's fans will surely vote for the team like crazy so I guess it will also benefit our CEO Hwang.. they have 2 great vocalist as well with Jaehwan and Sewoon, great rapper with Park WooJin and the BEST CENTER HWANG MINHYUN...!!! 

 

I guess Minhyun got the Center for Hands On Me team, since he is recording the center part with Jaehwan and Jaehwan didn't even raised his hands when they asked "who want to be in the center"... Ong said that the center has really great parts so he want to be in the center.. so I really do hope that Minhyun got the center this time again.!!!

I hope ahn junyoung pd will be jobless after this show and you can see that the votes from #5 onwards are very close...mnet make everything so uncertain unlike s1. Season 1 I can watch peacefully because I'm quite sure my fave will make it but then this season, almost everyone in the top 20 were once in top 11  I keep asking myself why am I watching produce101 again

Guys have you seen the PD101 new spoiler thread yet? Because i'm legit scared for Minhyun right now. In that thread there's the list of 1-11 ranking up to 2 days after the voting opened and Minhyun is not on it, i repeat Minhyun is not in it! Idk if the spoiler believable or not but it comes from the same source who leaked last week's ranking accurately (including sungwoon and guanlin ranks). Ughhhh i'm so nervous for him right now [emoji27][emoji27][emoji27] i hope he can survive and gain many votes in the next 4 days, or i'll give up on the debut group.

Fck, I am seriously not prepared. I am ready to cry just thinking about him not making top 11, and worse yet if he ends up at #12, I don't think my heart can deal with it. I've been preparing for this all week since I've noticed his lack of appearance on Pann but I know I will never be prepared and Friday's episode will destroy me. 

 

I might sit this one out and go out and do something productive with my life and check back on the outcome. I've been so confident that Minhyun's core fandom will be able to bring him into top 11 as he was really hyped mid-show but after his drop last week, it became a reality check and I realised Minhyun's fandom has not grown as much as the other contestants and on top of that his antis have been trying to drag him down since Never. 

 

Where are all his wannabe-wives on Pann? They were actively promoting him when he had no screentime/ content and now he has some decent screentime to talk about, they're nowhere to be seen. 

 

I think I'm going to cry anyway, minhyun get into the top11 or not  I can see mnet pushing dongho but they are also pushing minhyun(?) He suddenly get a lot of screen time in ep9...it's almost a total of all screen time from ep1-8 

I hope minhyun stans will promote him more often...even jonghyun stans that are famous for being quiet start promoting him so where are the delulu wifeu of minhyun? Or do they have other strategy?

 

 

Does anyone know if pre-existing K-Nuest fans have some sort of strategy? I know new fans will just vote for their favorites. I’ve heard that Minki was the most popular member before the show, so I’m thinking that pre-existing fans may still vote for him despite voting for the other three who have a higher chance of making it in with new fans and GP support. It’s hard to let go of your favorite for someone else and its sad that his liveliness was buried in the editing…but I hope they can be realistic given the circumstances. He had virtually no screentime and probably didn’t gain many individual new fans from the way the show was edited. I’ve especially seen a lot more Minki Pann posts in the last week, which makes me suspect that their votes are spreading out thinly between the four members instead of concentrating on two, which I think will be beneficial for Nuest in the long run. Two members in to gain lots of popularity in the group, and hopefully the ones that don’t make it can use the p101 hype for some individual activities (Unless Pledis really flops on promoting the members that don’t make it. But it’s totally possible from reading your guys comments on OH about how Pledis sucks at marketing and promotion. I'm in marketing so hire me please) 

 

I’m also coming to terms with Dongho possibly making it instead of Minhyun since I think it’ll be good for Nuest long term to have two members in to gain new fans, whichever two that may be. Dongho got a better personality edit (though maybe unintentional by mnet) and has been so meme-able, so he sticks and is memorable. But if only Jonghyun or only Dongho makes it, I think I’d be even more sad than if Dongho made it over Minhyun as the second Pledis member. (Geez I’m getting so attached to all of them I should just join the Nuest thread) But I don’t follow too much social media and am not sure where fans congregate to discuss, so I could be misled with my suspicions.

 

I’ve grown really attached to Minhyun in the last few months, so I can’t imagine what it’s like for you guys who’ve been supporting him for longer. This is why I don’t like getting attached. My heart can’t take this. My cousin is voting for me this week, so… that’s a few votes for Minhyun ._. I hope the noonas who are busy at college and at work that aren’t present on the internet are voting for him like crazy.

++ the most recent one is pretty much some Sewoon fans being upset that Minhyun moved Sewoon to Super Hot even though he gave Sewoon the same position; they say that when Sungwoon moved Minhyun to vocal4, minhyun stating that 'im glad im still in the song' means he himself doesn't like to switch songs, so why did he purposefully shift Sewoon and called him selfish for it. ._. I understand minhyun's plight though. He either give Sewoon a lead vocal part in a different song, or the same song but lesser parts. Either one he'd be cussed at, but yet no one said anything when he got pushed down to vocal4...

 

 minhyun isn't the only one who put other trainees in another song, and he just move se/woon to another subvocal 1...who knows if you want singing parts or the song? I thought se/woon wants more singing parts because he considered main vocal too...

There are trainees placing vocals to rap position...it's the rules, benefit of higher ranked trainees...or maybe the fans wanna see se/woon in subvocal 7 

Some even think that minhyun doesn't want to be in a team with se/woon...  can people stop creating drama themselves, at this rate those ppl can write their own script for pd101

I finally see a trending post on pann, don't know if they are quiet because they don't want to be attacked by se/woon fans (I see ppl attacking minhyun stans for being scary lol) but minhyun stans are not aware that mh's is in a really risky position.

I don't know what's going on tbh.. Everyone are going all out to promote their faves (including dongho, jonghyun , minki stans ) but Minhyun's are no where to be seen.. I hope they're voting well at least if they don't even bother to win casual fans votes.. On the bright side, hyunbin's fans seem to be voting for him as well.. I don't know how big his fandom is but every vote counts..

Thankful for Hyunbin fans who choose to vote for Minhyun. Hopefully Hyunbin can name drop Minhyun during his Ceci question event thing for a little boost

 

Let's be a little more optimistic 

Minhyun's stans are just quiet, and the amount of promotions doesn't equals to the amount of votes. I don't find dae/hwi, baejin stans promoting a lot too. Not even jonghyun, his stans didn't promote him until now. Meanwhile dongho and seon/ho that got promote a lot on pann, their rank didn't go up a lot. Popularity of trainees may differ in forums so it's hard to judge one's popularity by monitoring the posts. At this stage, everyone has their own fanbase and the posts are just for luring more new stans in, but screen time is indeed the best way to lure people in...A lot of muggles don't bother to click into the posts. I won't click into every post unless I like the trainee.

One of the comments there about why it's hard to trend minhyun's article, I think it's quite true:

 

1. Minhyun basically doesn't appear in the broadcast, she wrote the dongho megaton bomb post and it trended but now she write a post for minhyun and it doesn't trend.

2. Let's be real everyone already knows minhyun is handsome, so there is no use to write this kind of post again

3. Promotional posts need to be interesting or something cute (well, nothing really interesting can be seen) - personally I think kfans can write about his friendship with others

4. The videos of his past activities (in Nu'est) is funny but the other fandom hates it so they don't post this kind of things

About minhyun's personality and highlights on pann...actually guys, there are a lot of what you guys said being highlighted on pann. His consideration when it comes to other trainees (BCDF Fighting! Asking Jonghyun if he's okay being the leader + I believe in him. Praising both Sungwoon & Jaehwan in Downpour. Sitting on the armrest when his teammates have no space on the sofa during NEVER recording.) were all highlighted time and time again. Pann girls have done nothing but highlight his consideration and that was a major point in pushing the 'Nation's Husband' title.

 

Every other episode, his fangirls will write small articles to highlight his actions.

 

I think that given mnet's shitty '12th place revelation' among other things, haters have been using it as a way to try and manipulate voting against minhyun. There was a post back then in ep9 after minhyun's name was revealed and pann flooded with hate messages saying he's a pd pick, and his stans were saying how it's getting hard to come on pann or watch the show because it's mentally tiring to fight antis all the time. :( I hope they still vote for him every day regardless cause he really, really needed the votes. It's now or never, not time to 'pool votes for other people'. I can tell you with confidence that Jonghyun and Mingi stans are not going to share their votes for anyone because they need to guarantee the nation's leader get a seat + mingi stans want to push him into the final 11. 

 

Minhyun stans should do the same so that even if he doesn't make it, there would be no regrets.

 

 

This is really true. I have a feeling they're all on the down low at the moment...plus the likes needed to trend are way higher now. :O I noticed that in the past, ~100 upvotes and 5k views are all it takes for a post to appear in the top 100. These days, daniel's posts are like 2k upvotes, and if you have 300 upvotes you'd still end up in the top 80-100 range, it's insane. That might attribute to the non-trending status as well because you need a lot of boost at one go, but Minhyun did get a top 10 trending just the other day, but I don't see any minhyun stans worried about the spoiler and that worries me.

 

If EP9 wasn't any indication that minhyun was in a risky spot, I don't know what else is. 

 

minhyun have some posts at the top 50-100, but it's really hard to make it to the very top...

Now I'm upvoting and commenting lol  hope it make some changes

I'm a fan of his visuals too but these categories make me chuckle. And the twitter caption "Any Minyeon stan relates to this OP on a spiritual level" 

 

I also want this center rumor to be true. Two of my favorites in the show. Minhyun was such a great center for Never and I've always been super impressed with Daehwi. I'm highly skeptical that Daniel would be 8th though sadly can believe if Minhyun is 12th right now.

 

Edit: I also wonder who leaks these spoilers -- for the ones that ended up being true. Do they leak them for fun or because they hate Mnet? hahaha

 

I actually couldn't contain my laughter when I read this part. I haven't had time to watch much, but he does seem very naive/innocent/gullible in the earlier days. He gives off different vibes now. Also, I randomly remember watching a video where the members (or was it just Aron? I can't remember details) teased Jonghyun for only staying in (watching anime) and never going out and dating (low key admitting that they've all dated? who knows) I can't remember where I saw this before though
