So I'm visting the individual threads of my faves and ofcourse this thread is one of them 

I heard some of his covers and omgg his voice is really beautiful. He is definitely in my top 5.

Hopefully he'll be the one to make it out of his group I wish all the best to his members though.

His voice is gorgeous! It's sad that there doesn't seem to have many ventures for him to showcase it (hopefully at the countdown ep and position evaluations he could). But you can clearly hear his voice in Pick Me so I take comfort in that XD

 

Speaking of his voice. Let's revisit his solo song...one of my fave Japanese ballads  

 

Bless you for sharing this, I really like the song, he has such a pleasant voice to listen to. Let's hope they won' sleep on him when he gets the chance to show his singing abilities

I have so many things to say but I shall not.

 

Except that I'm hurt. And I'm hurt because how unfair it is to Minhyun? He admitted doing something wrong in the past and apologized for it. He was punished and yet people wouldn't let it go. He honestly admitted it because he had nothing else to hide, but immediately he's going to be remembered as something he's done at 12-13 years old and his hard work in the last 6 years is for nought.

 

I hate this. 

 

But more importantly, I support him. This is an incident that I could understand the disappointment if you just hear it for the first time, but I was listening to the radio then and I know. It's odd to defend someone you only know the image of but...I still like to say I know him. He gave me a lot of strength alongside aron during the radio show, he sent so many messages to fans on the fancafe...

 

He's the boy who got scouted on the streets and auditioned because he loved singing even when the people around him told him that he would fail. 

 

So I support him. That is all.

 

 

 

As I just started stanning him I had no idea about this but if it is something that he did when he was young, admitted his wrongdoing and reflected than it is fine for me. Hopefully people will be able to move on... I just want to say that I'm proud that he was still able to be in the top 11 especially as the international fans can't vote anymore. Praying he won't fall behind and raise even more

Here's some of the comments that netizens could read on the screencap. Trainees were voting the potential candidate in their rank that is likely to rise.

 

1. Because he's been active as a singer, he looks at ease. Today his dance and singing were good too.

2. He has the skills and many charms.

3. He's done close to perfect in the short time available.

4. Sings well, the speed of learning choreo is there and his dance doesn't seem like it's a C-rank (aka higher)

5. Vocal/Dance/Charm completion level is very high

 

 

 

Also I just watched today's episode and it was so hard to watch...It's just...so hard to watch.

 

Minhyun's video for evaluation is bad. There's no excuse to it, he blew off the one chance he had and I'm so frustrated for him, disappointed and I'm just...kind of angry. But Minhyun would be feeling worse back then. He got luck getting rank D for how he did, really, he messed up so bad I could barely watch. But at the same time...I'm also upset about mnet. Minhyun was ranked by his peers for the one with the most potential to rise from Rank C, yet mnet showed none of his singing or dancing in the rehearsals at all, only him messing up.

 

It made him look like he didn't put in effort at all which wasn't true if you look at some of the comments above. Even others said it was tough seeing how he didn't manage to show what he could have done...and Minhyun was probably feeling the worst of it all.

 

Sobs, I want minhyun to rise, but watching him crumble is hard.

 

 

 

Y'eah basically everything you said, I was happy that he rised in rank but forgot it was mainly the impact of the first ep. Sine I knew that he was going to drop from D I expected him to do bad in the re-evaluation but not that bad
