I still don't get the voting system. Most agree that Woojin deserves to win but also saying that he won because he was with the popular trainees. Can one abstain from voting like I will give O to Woojin and not vote for the rest?

I think it works like this. Since Daniel and Jihoon are the most popular members of the group, their fans would abstain from voting their bias's rival, so that their vote won't count and that member won't beat their bias. They don't deem Woojin as a threat to their bias and they actually enjoyed his performance, hence why he got #1 among Get Ugly.

i knew people were going to start discrediting him and doubting the win bc of the voting system. while i agree that woojin did benefit from the system, its not right for people to say that its the sole reason of his win (which is what ive seen people imply). if anything, pwoojin played it smart by being hardworking, not greedy, and diligent. he gathered fans on his own right and slowly rose through the ranks. being able to not seem like a threat and being generally likeable whike gaining a huge personal fandom is a talent in itself and other fans can only wish their faves were as drama and scandal free as woojin.

 

then again, other fans of GU members did get hurt by the rankings so i understand why they would feel the need to mention the voting system.

No matter what voting system is used, people are going to argue otherwise when their favs get a less than desired score I guess.. I think this system is a much better and more fair than the one previously used the last evaluation, but it's rabid fangirls who get their judgement clouded in voting when it comes to their bias.

 

Nevertheless, I'm so proud of him, he won it fair and square by his own means. He's easily one of the Top 2 dancers anyway in P101, right after Taehyun. He is seriously so skilled for his age, not to mention he is very good in rapping as well (with that voice  )

GAAAAH He was so flufffffy back then!!! Ilowkeyfindhispartnercute and wow uri Woojin so amaziiiiiiing, luv that solo. Compared to Young Woojin our Older Woojin is like PWoojin10.0 at dance now D: Might be the result of reduced fluffiness. Oh puberty you did well on Woojin but I will never get how you managed to change his sassy on-screen personality filled with so much fluffiness to that awkward shy boy who's also the embodiment of peace and purity(minus when he is onstage). 

 

 

 

I'm really curious how he's sooo different compared to when he was younger. TBH young sassy Woojin would normally grow up to be like Lee Daehwi/Jisung kind of guy but na he grew up to be the opposite (and I'm so thankfulll for that). All the trainees try hard to show really good reactions but this kid never tries. He's just reactionless and it's the best thing ever. Especially when he won Get Ugly, he just seemed so calm and thankful and really shy :') Bless his heart. He would always have that smol :o open mouth reaction. lol.

I've never been so triggered in my whole 17 yrs of existence and it also had A like (1 ************ person liked it). I couldnt help myself and spammed that person's comment. I hate blind people who were given eyes but still act blind. Eyes were given to appreciate the beauty of this world... I'm guessing it's not like that for every single normal people. (soz im getting weird at 1 am lol)  

Yeah I'm quite surprised how quiet and awkward he is at first sight, but I guess he could be quite the funny guy once you know him. I'm glad he got his sassiness in check haha, and that the unleashes it only during performances which makes it way more attractive imo 

 

I think you shouldn't bother with that person who is obviously blinded xD You won't be able to talk sense into them so you should conserve your energy to support Woojin more 

 

Btw guys, ever wondered why Woojin has this reassuring oppa feel to us noonas? That's because he's the reliable older brother to his loving younger sister that's why!

He doesnt have that big brother feel to me thou (thats Daniel's role, with his big frame, goofy & laid back guy).

But he has that smol oppa charm. Someone just grows up enough to be a bit reserved, awkward, and has talent to back himself up. These traits make noona scream: "oppa, why u still a minor???"

Daniel is the epitome of big brother - because of his personality and his frame, but when I see Woojin he seems to have this quiet dependable feel to him like when he reassured Samuel that he'd do well as the centre. Yeah about the awkward shy personality you just want to care for him. But when he performs, the noonas totally get on the 'why aren't you my oppa' mode haha, that I agree with

*awkwardly arrives into this thread from the depths of awkwardness* Hi! I don't know if this makes me the youngest person on here, but I'm 9 months younger than Woojin, ahaha. but he likes noonas, ahhh

 

I literally just made an OH account today, after binge-reading this thread in two days. I'm new to this website, so I'm nervous about this "quoting" thing. I think I'll attempt it next time, if I get a reply...???

 

I've always been a huge supporter of the underdog/shy/sweet/awkward people in anything, so I guess that's why I didn't pay much attention to Woojin in his intro. He seemed pretty confident and well-put-together (he still is, though), so I simply enjoyed his intro. I actually got into Produce 101 sporadically, so I watched a few episodes before even going to the meringue times and eye-contacts. 

 

Woojin got me shook at the center evaluation, but once I saw his humble quiet side, I was completely snatched. If he choreographed a lot of the "Get Ugly" performance, but still put himself in the back, I think that says wonders about his personality. After a few episodes, I went back to watch all the eye-contact videos and some of the meringue times. but is Ahn Hyeongseob okay? He ate so many of the eggs. ... The moment he stuck his tongue out after blinking, I dropped my past fave (Jung Sewoon) for him. Seriously, it has gotten to the point that I made a separate photos album on my phone for Park Woojin things, and then Produce 101 things... 

 

I haven't seen hate on Woojin, but I've seen some people call him "average" compared to the rest of the Produce 101 trainees. In my opinion, though his skill isn't the highest, he really brings a lot to the stage. His facial expressions are on a crazy level. Daniel really killed the choreography and got everything sharp and clean, which is amazing. For some reason, I think the way Woojin lets himself loose gives him that oomph, even though he sometimes has extraneous movement. It all comes naturally to him, too, since he had fun and danced to all the songs during the freestyle dancing segment. AND THE DUDE'S ONLY 17!! (When Woojin got #1 and Daniel ran over to hug him, and when Woojin sat in shock, Daniel petted his hair like a cat??? My aesthetic.)

 

Oh my (oh my, oh my) god, I talk too much. I'm probably the most introverted person in my school, though. I tend to send way too much online, which might make me a bore, so I apologize. Nice to meet you guys!!

I need to have a talk with those people who call him average, like whut really?  He doesn't stand out at first, but once he starts performing, boom charisma boom noona's ovaries  I might be biased but I think Woojin is super talented and skilled for his age, I'd easily name him as one of the Top 5 dancers in Produce 101 (Taehyun, Hwanwoong, Eunki, Ong and Woojin), you should check out some of fetus Woojin's dance covers if you haven't already - he really has a natural groove to him, I noticed this also during Get Ugly practice. Also, he's proven to be very good in rapping too (his breathing control is very good and that low growling raspy voice ) not Woo Jinyoung, Kim Sanggyun, Sangbin level yet but much better than the handful of aspiring idol rappers out there.

Let's try this out... Hmm, my top 4 before episode 6 were Woojin, Sewoon, Yongguk, and Jonghyun. It didn't change after episode 6+7+position evaluation performances, but I feel like I need to add a few more people to the ranks.

 

 

 

Oh yeah, I have to keep reminding myself that he's 17, ahaha. At first, I thought Jung Sewoon was the youngest out of all the trainees I liked... which is ironic, because he's one of the oldest. Anyway, yeah, at first, I was captivated by his rapping, especially in 10 out of 10. That was some impressive stuff. I thought he was set out to be a rapper, despite choreographing "Welcome to my Hollywood", but THIS BOY BLOWS ME AWAY WITH HIS TALENT EVERY EPISODE I SEE HIM. 

 

Your top 5 dancers is tight, yo. 

 

Fetus Woojin is one of the few things in this world that don't suck!!! Oh my gosh, Woojin @ BoA's "Only One" makes me sob happy tears. And his iKON's "Dumb&Dumber"??? SIGN ME UP. 

 

I really hope Woo Jinyoung survives this next elimination... Samuel, too. Jinyoung's rapping has actually gotten better throughout Produce 101, in my opinion, and even though he reminds me of my old crush (looks-wise, even though my crush wasn't Asian, and voice-wise), he sure has Woo-ed me. (I make a lot of puns... Be warned.) I feel like we don't have to worry as much about Woojin now, and for me, Yongguk seems safe after the last episode. Jonghyun and Sewoon are generally safe for top 35. All my four faves conveniently got #1 in their respective songs, too, so I really don't have to worry.  I still am going to be a bit tense for them, and more tense for some new faves.

Woo Jinyoung's rap is LIT from Centre battle to the Position Evaluation, I see Woojin nodding in agreement every time Jinyoung raps haha. Woo Jinyoung and Woojin were once JYP trainees together so I'm hoping for some kind of close friendship there

i've watched pretty much all his dance videos but nothing beats his freestyle center battle.

i became a stan on that day, his dancing style and his facial expressions won me over during the first mission.

i also love his personality. Off stage he's quiet but on stage he becomes a completely different person

and don't get me started on his voice. how can someone like park woojin exist? i need a detailed thesis on that!
