Anyone read that there's an unconfirmed spoiler floating around than Woojin got #1 for Dance, while Kim Jonghyun got #1 for Rap and the highest number of votes among the 59 trainees. I wonder how true is this..

Does anyone know whether there are are any fan projects in Korea for Woojin atm? Like handing out can drinks with his face or sth? Or are they collecting money to give him some banner ads or sth or donating to charities in his name? I know this is the sort of stuff pple do for idols tt already debut but I really want this boy to be in Top 11...

I really hope it's true coz he was the best in Get Ugly and overall, one of the best dancer (Shape of you was good too) so it's not stolen imo. Plus it would be soooo great for him to get those +10000 votes

I'd love for him to get that acknowledgement too! My unbiased heart () tells me that he did the best in Get Ugly performance despite being shoved at the back most of the time, but he nailed his centre part like no other 

I wouldn't mind if Noh Taehyun won it either because this dude is freaking talented from choreographing the whole dance by himself to monitoring all his team mates woah, well-deserved if so.

 

I just hope talent wins over popularity this time around

Yeah but I feel it's currently a three-trainee situation this time being Daehwi, Youngmin and Woojin. Especially the later two who are vying for the same dancer and rap spot. The same goes for Pledis with Jonghyun, Minhyun and Baekho.

ugh. this is true. I love both btw, that's why this is hard. but i'm still rooting for woojin since he seems like have stronger fanbase. i dunno really, we'll be able to tell this when the only one trainee to vote start.

I.K.R. I blame the BNM boys for being so talented  I have a different opinion though, I think Youngmin has a larger fanbase atm with the subway ads and upcoming bus ad I heard, also he's pretty much trending on Pann which is what teen girls usually use. Youngmin also has the angel edit twice in a row so I'm hoping Mnet will give Woojin some.

 

And we have Woojinnie who is more popular with noonas, probably busy working to add towards their bank account  But on the slower side than teen girls haha. I posted previously that his subway ad is coming up on the 22nd and he's going to have some cafe promo thanks to China noonas. I guess we'll have a clearer idea when elimination episode starts next week.

It's so hard to tell who has the bigger fandom based on the subway ads. Even Ongniel don't have one yet and Daniel seems pretty solid to be in the top 11. All we can do is speculate, which can be stressful.

That's true, it's about who has richer fans to be able to afford that xD I heard Daniel is about to get one in Gangnam, one of the richer neighbourhoods 

And Samuel who hasn't had good results for one pick already has a subway ad, so it's all a speculation game for now

im so torn honestly. i have so many faves in the top 11 rn, but woojin is my no1 pick. if he doesn't get in, it would just feel so wrong. i thought about stanning the eventual group and still following his activities on the side, but i feel like him not getting in is such a waste of talent :C

 

ugh mnet is seriously making me nervous. the edit with taehyun definitely hinted a bad edit that turned out for the better for woojin instead. i dont trust them at all to help woojin rise. my trust lies in the noona fans instead 

 

baekho is definitely not getting it with fans voting for all three. they're eventually gonna get split between minhyun and jr instead. with daewhi, youngming and pwj is that they all have strong individual fandoms and its the matter of who has the strongest. ngl, i want all three of them in the final lineup (but then donghyun wont be in it T^T).

It's difficult to say because Baekho seems to attract a different demographic of fans if you take Naver into account. He appeals to women in their 20s but mostly 30s (probably 40s to some extent haha) whereas Jonghyun and Minhyun appeals to 10s and 20s.

 

Yeah it's good that there was no BNM train in the beginning because people focused more on how 'Welcome to my Hollywood' was like plagiarism and all eyes were on Daehwi for being centre. Youngmin and Woojin came so far by on their own merits, I'm so proud  My sons~

I 1st noticed PWJ's voice in Welcome to Hollywood but got distracted by Daniel's pink hair & Ong's constellation moles in early episodes :-P

I think he still does go to school because there was an fanaccount from his schoolmate posted here few days back. He just takes days off when he's filming or practising for evaluations.

 

I think trainees don't get paid until they debut and start raking in the money. If I'm not wrong, companies other than the Big 3 requires you to pay back the debt first (cost for your training) before you actually start earning it. Not sure how Brand New Music do it though but they look pretty rich.

(PANN) 170518 – Honestly, Produce 101 Park Woojin’s gap is amazing (+156, -11)

(T/N: ‘Gap’ here means a sudden difference in the person! A good example of this would be the Woojin we see on stage vs. the Woojin we see touching Youngmin’s face playing with the other trainees.)

He seems like a somewhat unexpected trainee that is in the follow-up for top in the fancam category after Park Jihoon and Kang Daniel.

He’s been standing out a bit ever since ’10 Points Out of 10′, but now it seems like his sturdy fandom is quite high in rankings.

Personally, I could only see him during ‘Get Ugly’….

 

He really needs to debut… Really…

This moment was when his thoughts where different on the choreography from his teammates, so he’s checking the dance by himself and I was hit by how he raises the corner of his lips like that…

This really made me wonder if he’s really in his 3rd year of high school… He’s probably the only one who makes expressions like these and acts like this

YES WE REALLY SHOULD! How do we share them thoo... It's a good repayment from the intl fandom to the Chinese/Korean noonas for all the money they spent on our Woojin. I wish all his hardcore fans in Korea and China would know how much the intl fandom of Woojin appreciates them for their hard work.

 

*Also, it's a good sign that our Woojin is gaining haters because that means his popularity is enormously growiing!!!! I mean who can hate on Kang Daniel, many of his haters are just scared of his popularity and I know Park Woojin's haters are also hella scared of Woojin.

Ohhh may I know where have you seen the haters?

From my super elementary and basic understanding of Korean, she's explaining that Woojin isn't exactly her fixed pick but a trainee she had her eye on because he danced and rapped very well during the centre battle and that he has a huge gap between his off-stage and on-stage personality. She was wondering why his ranking was in the 70s and thought that he might be eliminated because only the Top 60 survive the first round.

 

So when she heard his name being called for 24th place, she was super surprised because she was sure that he was going to be eliminated. Then Yoojung straight away thought that Woojin was Sohye's fixed pick, that's how this misunderstanding came about. But Sohye still had good eyesight though

OneHallyu went whack from shock yesterday haha. Woojin was #1 on Naver search rankings right after the episode concluded! I'm so proud of him, all my kids coincidentally got #3 place lolololol, I'll never be a prouder mom  I really hope his name reaches the public out there about this skills and hardwork to cement that Top 11 spot!
