Also in my memory the 24k members are relatively old, I never knew they had added two 98-liners, that's a big age gap!

 

Edit: Updating just because I never heard back and don't want misinformation to be accidentally spread. I've been looking for info about Woojin's relationship with Choeun since a few weeks ago before he started blowing up thanks to screentime (so when info was scarce) and even now with lots of fans who are spreading pre-PD101 pictures/videos/history, I still haven't seen anything about Choeun. Seems like JYP is the only other company he has ever been a trainee at.

Does Woojin still go to school?

Woojin is currently in his third/final year at Korea Art School. He should be graduating in February 2018.

 

At 19 he'd be a Senior in High school but I think it depends on what month he was born, as he was born on November then it's likely that he's still at school.

Yep, the cutoff date in Korea is generally in either January or February, so November is a straightforward birth month. Current high school seniors in Korea (third/final year) were born between Feburary 16, 1999 and February 4, 2000.

I haven't really taken care of this thread though tbh, only posting to answer questions. But! I am always reading with a smile on my face hehe. Keep it up, your guys' enthusiasm for Woojin is lovely~

I think Never just finished performing? They were the last ones to go.

Not that I could wait before, but now I reaaallllyyyy cannot wait for all the performances. I remember someone in the main thread kept on insisting that Woojin is just meh at rapping (if you guys know who I am talking about, it's the same person who was lowkey hella happy that Youngmin was getting into controversies, so transparent about her Youngmin + other BNM kids by association dislike smh)........anyways I can't wait for her to eat her words because Woojin is gonna kiiiiilll itttt

I feel bad that Woojin has been having a hard time and wish him a full recovery.

 

But hey, here's a silver lining! Call me crazy but I think him getting shingles pretty much secures him a spot in the final group. Even if Mnet does not cover that in Never's broadcasted storyline, Woojin's focus cam is going to trend as usual and people are going to notice the eye patch and want to know what happened. Boom, more casual viewers are now converted to being his one- and two-pick stans.

 

Funny how unlucky things have ironically been helping out Woojin so far. Initially being the lowest ranking A trainee at 75 in ep2 gave him some of the earliest attention that led to people looking more into him (if Namhyung had not risen above him in rank for ep2, that legendary first business post for Woojin on Pann might have been for Namhyung instead). Get Ugly needs no explanation, it really flung him into the radar of people who (for some unfathomable reason) had not noticed him yet.

 

Park Woojin is truly blessed, the kpop gods have really been smiling upon him hehe, and he super duper deserves it
