LisaVandercunt 19 Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 I can finally mark that off my bucket list. Knowing myself there will be more tattoos to follow after this one is completed. I loved the whole experience, the place I went to had a very relaxing and almost spiritual atmosphere. The owner of the place is very into Hinduism. There were status, paintings of Kali and other Hindu deities all over the place. The artist that did my tattoo was extremely down to earth, friendly and courteous. As far as the pain goes, it honestly was not painful, I sat there for 4 1/2 hours and now it didn't really hurt. I'm surprised because I had this idea of tattoos being excruciatingly painful because after all you're getting stabbed by a needle or needles for hours, but no this was a piece of cake. The sensation was like scratching a sun burnt skin with a needle. I did get very cold to the point where my fingers felt like frost bite, I mean they were numb and I couldn't feel them at all! You wanna see a picture? It's still wrapped up and I have to keep it covered for 3-4 hours and then wash it gently with antibacterial soap and put some aquaphor on it. I really want to get one but I'm so scared :( I watched my friend get her first tattoo last week for her 18th birthday and she was in so much pain :((( Apparently you have to wash it with unscented soap so just in case u didn't know!!
