I know it's unfair for debuted idols to participate in this show but I really wanna support them

imo pledis should have a better planning and the boys should train a little longer, not just make them debut, make them shine too

The hate here is real. OH posters can be so cruel sometimes. At the time when we are most upset. As a Nu'est fan, sometimes I feel oppressed. The fandom is so small, I am pretty sure I'll probably be talking to myself again. But it is too small to be a target of offence. Sometimes I feel like those who upvote some of the harsh replies in the forum as someone who watches bullies at the back and cheered. wth

TBH it's getting real tired. That's why I quit OH last time. Everyone's just in it for the tea.

I understand thats unfair to some trainees, but actually there are more debuted trainees in the show i don't get why only nuest get sworn...and it's not like mnet will give other trainees a lot of screen time if nuest is not there

 

Sad truth: Tbh if they are that popular in kr they don't have to join pd101, anyway k-netz feel bad for them so ppl will defend for nuest

But yeah, it's like they don't want to compete cause they're in a tight spot...always giving others the spotlight.

 

 

 

 

They said that when they first entered and took their seats, but I think the performance was a good wake up call. Looking at how they all got teary and even Minhyun because this man is made of steel when he wants to, makes me both sad and proud. They probably retreated to cry when they have their own interview, I mean look at JR crying as he laughingly said that he thought he was going to cry when he saw Kahi's eyes. 

 

It's tough, they have to say about their own performances /and/ other people's performances like Dongho talking about Samuel, not just them, like every other trainees. God that must be such pain to endure.

 

 

 

 They must feel bad at the beginning of the show...I hope they make more friends so they may feel more comfortable there. And always be humble or they will be chanmi-ed (I can see dongho getting evil editing, hope he will do well later)

btw usually the trainees with ending shots can rank high or even enter the final 11, and jr is one of them  i hope mnet treats him well, give him more screen time

Just assumptions,but i think minhyun and ren can get new friends easy, i am worried about our Jonghyun and Baekho.. are they making friends? Sometimes I see JR walks and sits alone, I just... my motherly instinct went.. Are you making any friends? How's school? lol.

 

KAWAIII I love Onibugi JR the most!!! And he really looks similar to the wartortle too xD

 

YASSSS!! Finally some update! Thank you, lizzy! They both look so cute! I hope they eat lots and get much advice.

 

Talking about vocal trainer, do you think our JR had had to sing on the show? I wonder how he fares.. I don't know if I'm being deluded since he's my bias, but I always has this confidence, that JR might be better than he thinks. With the right songs, his voice could be nice. I think if he's more confident, he could do it. He always evaded singing before ^^

 

hahaha I can see ren getting a lot of friends already, they will have more friends as they clear more missions. But popularity aside, whether they can enjoy themselves/learn is my concern too  

 

I'm really curious about the singing too, I have never listen to jr singing but I assume he is decent if he can get a B? especially when the judges are setting high standard this season. There are lots of rappers this season so it will be nice if he can get a chance to sing!

I was so surprised when I see his name, I had to double check. I always expect Ren and Minhyun to make it. This is a nice surprise. I hope he does well next week.

 

I actually think minhyun and jr have greater chance, considering how they have individual shots in pick me and the editing...Even minhyun messed up his dance in re-evaluation they still show the part with trainees thinking minhyun do well in class and didn't show any bad things about jr so far...I hope his evaluation will be shown next week

I like Jonghyun's voice in Onekis2 the most, his low singing voice is a kind of healing to me

Hopefully he secures his place in the top11 after ep4 because he is such an angel

Just a suggestion: maybe you could add JR's real name to the title of this thread? New fans mostly know him as Kim Jonghyun, so it'd be easier to find for them.

 

I was rewatching NU'EST's old videos (mostly v-lives) and I feel like doing a compilation of JR's reactions to people praising him, because he's so cute

Gasp how could you say that when Minhyun looks straight out of a manga in Overcome    I actually thought Love Paint was super aesthetic though (except that no one would walk out in the streets with that sorta hair yeah)

 

And JR looks best in Daybreak MV (fites yall!!) 

 

 

imo Baekho actually looks better when he just debut

 

 

I'm not very into manga visuals but Minhyun looks great in overcome tho. Their styling in 2016 is actually good but when I look back to 2012 I can't understand the styling now haha but I was so into jr when they first debut lol

 

 

For me the make up in pd101 is better(?) and I like how they still slay their plain practice sweater in pd101 with their A class visuals

Like we predicted, Jonghyun is rising above all the rest of Nu'est boys because of his nation's leader storyline 

Can't wait to see ep 5 to see the real ranking. Do you guys think he got enough akgae to vote him in one pick system later on?

 

So far I see knetz are quite certain that park jihoon, jonghyun and daniel will debut so I guess he is popular enough?

About next episode... I think he's better at dancing than rapping, and dancing is more 'flashy', you don't have to know a lot about it to be impressed by it. But when it comes to rapping, he has one big advantage: experience. I don't mean it only as experience in writing lyrics and rapping on stage, but also as life experience. He had some real struggles that he can now rap about and sound sincere. That's why I think Mino's Fear could be a good pick for him.

 

Anyway, have some JR:

 

 

I bet most of the top 11 will choose dance  it might be good for him to choose rap and there are many good dancers

I believe he can write good lyrics if he choose fear

 

So now I know why jonghyun seldom show his forehead...  I will still love bald jonghyun

I have always though that JR's visual is underrated! Please, the world should treasure him more

Jonghyun probably will receive hate here because whoever on the rise will be hated (K-netz seems to be fine with his ranking so don't worry too much, he is loved <3) and I see people complaining about having 3 nuest members in the top 11... well mnet start evil editing dongho again lmao

Everyone, I came late to celebrate Jonghyun #1   I'm sooooo happy for him since he went uuuuuuup!!

Truthfully, I want him to be on top but not THE top, I just wish he secure his position on the team by being in the recurrent top5/3 coz the last ranks are soooo versatile   I'm happy to see he's only got praises rn but the real fight would be if kfans still voting for him and not thinking he could be threatening their faves positions The fandom fight was so focused on Jihoon vs Daniel that I don't think JR has an immense fandom who can support him but mostly knetz voting him + their faves or maybe (actually pleaaase) I am wrong??

 

Nevermind, it's time to celebrate

 

Because it's still 11 pick and mnet reset the vote after ep 5, so Jonghyun will rank high as he is really likable. I didn't expect him to be #1 but I think he will be in top 5 until 1 pick starts. 

11 pick is for making your dream team so I bet ppl will still pick him. Meanwhile akgae will always pick the unpopular trainees at the bottom + their fave so there will be less competition. Jonghyun is always #3 or #4 in one pick survey so I think he has a decent fandom backing him up but most of the votes are from others

 

Never have I seen JR being hated before   Not at this cost. I hope it will die down. At least most knetz don't.

I'm glad that knetz recognize his hard work and his rank too. I was scared to go to pann because last week muel and ji/sung get a lot of hate for having high rank while knetz don't understand why ppl pick them...So far I havn't seen hate post in pann so don't worry too much, lucky Jonghyun isn't being cursed at yet but I can see the antis coming   Seems inetz hate him more lol

Why ppl act like the current top 11 is a mess while only 3 of them are new? The 3 new ones were in the top 20  So far this top 11 is the most vocally talented line up so what mess can they create... People underestimated the votes from China too, I believe theres way more than 2% of votes because Taobao was selling thousands of accounts so it's not surprised to see some trainees dropping. Most of the current top 11 are the ones that leave impression to viewers after ep4, if you have nothing special to show (and ofcoz mnet didn't give your faves screen time) then your rank will drop, it's very simple. 

 

And those ppl stop supporting nu'est because they have 3 members in the top 11?? Do they support nu'est just because they are underrated? I'm sorry to mention this but do people think a group that didn't have enough fans to attend fansigns has a large fandom that can threaten their faves? Jonghyun and everyone else gain the votes themselves.

 

 

Anyway, no one can be a wall forever and mnet pretty much controlled who can debut at the end. I'm really proud of Jonghyun because it is not easy to go this far :')
