It's great that he is in top 15 (naver views) without being part of memes, controversies or previous fanbase. He appeared on hello counselor so that has helped him though. He seems to have good k-netizen support as well.

For being in group D, he got three close up screen time and a group shot on the Mnet version of Pick me. Hope he gets some good storyline on the episodes and won't be part of evil editing. That will destroy his innocent soul :(

I'm really thankful his teaser video was in the first batch. I think that helped him with extra exposure too. Because I stopped watching after the 2ed/3ed batch came out

So our Ung seems to be in the 'Boys in Luv' team with Ha Seungwoo, Lee Daehwi, Ju Haknyeon, Park Jihoon, Samuel (holy crap this team is a force). What are your guys thoughts on him being in this team?

I think its a good and a bad thing. Good that he picked a strong team that will most likely win the audience votes and a lot of people will watch his group performance on naver/youtube.

Bad thing is that he might not get too much screentime and people will be more focused on the other members of the group. Hopefully Mnet gives him a nice ending shot.

But all in all, I think it will work out for him and kudos to him for picking to be a part of a strong team.

I laughed so hard at the comments on Naver under his video.

The only reason I'm not surprised is because he aspired to be an actor before - so I didn't think he had much of a singing talent. Originally I thought maybe he got scouted because of his visuals & maybe acting skills, but considering he got a higher score than some debuted idols, he can't be all too bad at the whole idol thing. I'm looking forward to his performance

I think his biggest 'disadvantage' is that he hasn't had much training as some other trainee have ~~(because he busy looking after 3 stores).~~ and only been in Yeuhau for less than a year. He initially wanted to go into acting but this is a good platform for him to gain some exposure and experience. Watching his fancam, he seems like a decently good dancer. I think his vocal skills aren't that good that's why he got placed in D.

+ Ung is legit the nicest person there ever was. During his time, he promotes the other guy saying how good he is. Like, he's completely amazing. And then at the end he thanks the staff . I stan Ung because of his personality and he really never seems to disappoint. #Perfectperson

FINALLY GET TO HEAR IT! And he is actually pretty good at it too.

He is a really good guy. Even in the meringue making video, he was super polite and humble, and in the end thanked the staff. He seems very responsible and hardworking as well, he has completed every challenge so far. We are going to see extra pics of him!!

This was just the first two hours of voting results. It going to change a good bit. I would say the top 5 or so are going to stay in this list until the end unless something really bad happens to them and they lose popularity.

I just watched the whole thing, and Ung got a C!! And we all thought he got D rank.

I think they were a bit harsh with them because they were first though. Had they gone later, I could see them (all the Yue Hwa boys) getting a higher score.

Same, I think the trainers had high expectation from the first batch. It was actually pretty good from what I saw in the video. Hopefully they release the full performance. His rap was really good!

The pick me reevalulation is happening next week, that's when he drops to D :(

Throwback to when Ung first came in ~~to my life~~ hello counselor. He literally got everyone there shook by his visuals. I still go back and watch it sometimes. Just in a year he seems to have grown up a good bit. His face has changed, but still smol and cute <3
