so basically he rejected to be a trainee in sm ( and potentially gave up a position in exo ) to focus on studying and now he's going to compete with a hundred other boys? talk about lost opportunities

this omg. there werent a lot of varied close ups so im disappointed

even season one had more close ups

Yeah and since there are a lot of boys not everyone will get the same screen time. (I haven't watched the first season but this is my guess) I hope it won't be the same on the show for Yongbin. But he was already on tv and he's an ex SM trainee so I probably don't have to worry.laugh.png

I made a terrible gif of the moment I saw him which is around the 3:42-3:43 mark.

He's in the triangle behind the A boys, so I'm assuming his rank when this was made was D.

Ahh there he is! At least he's not an F rank. I'm still not very familiar with the system of the show lol it's sounds complicated.

I was glad when I finally found him and he wasn't in the F rank to be honest, haha. Did you watch the first season yet? The system makes more sense if you had watched that prior. Also, I updated the OP with Yongbin's debut single if you haven't listened to that yet! ohbi.png

No I didn't watch the first season. Maybe I should really watch it so I will understand it better. I wanted to watch it for a long time anyway. And it will kill the time for waiting 1 month.  rlytearpls.png

Wow I never heard the song I didn't know he debuted with a song. ahmagahplz.png I love his voice! I'm sure now i picked the right boy already as my favorite.

I hope this is not true. I mean Yongbin would pull off that hot cool look for 10 out of 10 but I wanted him to be able to show his vocal abilities. Call me Baby would have been perfect.

I'm not mad about this, yoonbin can obviously sing but he is grouped with some of the most popular/well known trainees during that performance. So his group will get lots of screentime, (not to mention mnets dramatic hella extra slowmo shots). I think the best thing to do is to first get noticed, he is one of the most attractive boys there. And besides further into the competition he will get more chances to showoff his vocals.

actually, it seems like the line-up will be like this:

There is not one popular trainee here i think. I can't recognise any. I'm so afraid they barely get screentime. But they have to show all performances right. Maybe Yongbin get's to stand out among them hopefully even with little screentime... I'm so afraid they have one avengers team full of popular trainees (the boy in luv group). But at least there is a fair chance for his team to win those extra votes. I think they get 3000 this time?

 

Yongbin didn't have any fan accounts with reports and photos. It worries me. And everyone is talking about how all the popular trainees end up in the top 11 idontthinksobetchplz.png  I hope it changes when the show airs and the tables will turn.
