slightly off topic:

 

the eastlight is preparing a comeback I think they've already recorded the song as well (i think). sagang sang a spoiler from the track. we still have 2 months until produce101 is over. So do you think they'll have the comeback sooner than that, without woojin. god forbid they pull a cube and add him to the group making everyone stop voting for him mid show.

 

i think so the boys are also appearing on the childrens educational broadcast soon, along with some girl trainees? maybe medialine will debut a girl group too.

anyways i was just thinking about this the other day.  while I'm happy with how consistent his ranking has been all across the boards from the maboy and the 3 weeks of ranking we've seen, he's maintained a spot in the top 20-22, but i'm hoping when they air the next episode that he manages to get highlighted and make waves to bump him higher into the ranking.  I'm not at all worried that he'll be eliminated early, I'm actually quite positive he'll last all the way to the finale but it'll be so bittersweet when he makes it that far just not to make the group...

 

I might still follow the group but I'm not stanning without Woojin lol 

I think he has a lot of individual fans. Which will help out in the final voting. And MNET seems to be pushing him too. A lot of people noticed him this week because of the center battle, which is good. And next week I'm sure his team will get significant screen time because he went to the hospital (but he's okay now, which is good).

 

 

Also I was thinking if he could get into the winning team for the 35 boys 5 concept and manage to get the most votes on that team. He could get into the final group anyway. But that's a lot of luck.

the vocal options we have, I'm not a big fan of any of them lol but what do guys think would suit Woojin the best 

 

Spring Day, well I mean Spring Day is the best option because its a bts song and will probably get the highest votes out of all the vocal songs, but I can also picture Woojin's "My Love is on FIYAHHH" if he performs Playing with Fire. Those are the songs I would like him to choose. The OST is boring. I doubt Woojin's heard BoA's song before. Downpour is kind of bittersweet it might not get a lot of votes because it reminds people that this is temporary.

because BoA performed the song right when she was around woo jin's age as well 

I like that song I listened to it for the first time after the teaser yesterday. But because it is an old song, and it wasn't a huge hit. I think it won't gather a lot of votes.

 

I want Woojin to win. So more than my own preference I think what's going to get him the most votes. I think singing V's or Jungkook's part in Spring Day would be the best case scenario.

You jinxed it varsity, he was in Spring day and he was the main vocal and center and apparently he messed up on his high note TT I'm so worried now.....

 

I mean look at the composition of that team though Jinyoung, Seonho, and Yongjin. Woojin had to hard carry the vocals, I honestly would've preferred him be in a group consisting of superior vocalist and end up getting overshadowed than be the best vocalist and everyone relying on him heavily, and people blaming him for the group's poor performance I hope this is another case of a bias fan account but there was a couple of them that said he messed up and the performance overall was bad.....

Don't be stressed. I'm sure it wasn't horrible, just not great. I don't think he's going to get the most votes in his team because Jinyoung was there. But I don't think MNET is going to make his bad high note the focus. Remember when someone messed up in Call Me Baby they edited it out. Maybe they will do that for Woojin. But I heard that his voice didn't crack bad but his voice was kind of shaky on the high note. This is the fan account of a Woojin fan:

Yeah regardless of the outcome, I'm still proud of Woojin.  I'm sure there was a lot of pressure on him being the main vocal and center, while also being the maknae.  But how did he even end up in a team consisting of 2 visual F trainees who doesn't specialize in anything, another F trainee who's mainly a rapper, and Kenta who is a dancer, like how did that even happen.  I need to know how they did the team selections this time, because it seems even more crappy than last year's. 

 

and yessss he got his second prize!!!  It wouldn't let me vote earlier for some reason, so I wasn't aware.  

I think they picked in order of rank so Bae Jinyoung picked first, then Yoo Seonho and Woojin decided to join that team also? Then Kenta and I think no one else picked that song for a while so Yongjin took the last spot, because it has a few raps in it originally.

I think Woojin expected another vocal to pick that song after him. But it didn't work out that way.

edit: also i never wished for him to be the main vocal, i wanted him to be lead vocal and take on a major vocal part like v's or jungkook's not v and jungkook.

 

if the fanacc is true, i hope no one will bash and put the blame on woojin and hopefully it's not sounds that bad during the broadcast this friday. i know it's kind of impossible for woojin to be on top 11 at the end  he's well loved but seems like knetz not taking him seriously to be part of debut group cos he's still young, but i really hope he's not eliminated yet and make it to top 22 and gain as much experiences as he can. 

No one bashed Woojin for his voice crack. Honestly everyone is saying that he did good despite the voice crack. It's not impossible for Woojin to make top 11. Of course as the competition goes on the chances are smaller. But It's not impossible. It's kind of weird that you would come in the Woojin thread and basically say that he doesn't have a chance at debut. Why bring that negativity here?

They did it by ranks last year, but Boa said during the preview that they're doing it differently this time around.  How different, I have no clue, but different enough that a fairly high ranked trainee like Kenta ended up in vocal, when I'm quite positive he would've chosen dance if he had the choice.

 

 

and yeah, even though I highly doubt he'll get hated on or anything, because c'mon who can hate this boy lol people still need to realize he alone had to do the heavy lifting in this group, while the other groups had at least a couple main vocals and lead vocals in their group, Woojin is literally the only main vocal surrounded by sub vocals in his group..

Oh yeah, I think it was a bit different, I noticed when they revealed the signs they weren't against the wall but looked like they were in front of this maze thing. maybe the trainees had to run inside and pick up a card with the name of the song they wanted. Maybe Woojin got spring day and held onto it out of fear of getting stuck in rap, or in dance.

It's possible that Woojin might have won the vocal category.

 

Apparently Spring Day performed first in vocals. Even though Woojin messed up, people said his voice was really good. Some visual fans think that because their faves had more fans in the audience that they received more votes. But even 20 fans out of 600 or 500 isn't much. I think that since in the beginning of recording more people are present there is more votes.

not me actually want Seonho to win  but yea Woojin needs it more and he's the most talented out of everyone and deserves it more than the rest of the team

That was was what I was pointing to with my comment about "fans thinking having more fans in the audience means more votes", if 10 of your fansites show up and vote for you and everyone else doesn't vote for you, that isn't better than someone who has the casual votes of the 200 of the audience. Not saying that either is true for Woojin or Seonho or Baejin.

 

I think assuming that more fans in the audience = most votes, is a naive assumption. Some people don't care about Spring Day team at all. And are merely voting for who stood out the most. It might be Woojin. Or it might be Baejin or Yongjin or Seonho.

I don't know, he looked pretty dejected while watching the dance and rap performances and was sitting all the way at back by himself.  I guess it's possible he won, but he thinks he didn't deserve it because he messed up, so he's sad about it?  I guess at this point, even though he did mess up, I'm hoping he still manages to captivate people, because fanacc said he did amazing at the beginning of their perf, and he can gain a momentum from their...

He could just be upset about the mistake he made, I think that was the first time his voice has really failed him at a crucial moment. I hope he won't let it keep him down and instead work on improving. He still has the concept evaluation (hopefully). And it could be a good opportunity to redeem himself. I'm nervous about him staying around the 18-22 range after 2nd elimination. I want some sort of rise.
