Same. The best career move imo, would be to play a memorable supporting role (ex Krystal in The Heirs) or a good second lead without a love triangle (ex. Nana in The Good Wife, Lim Ji Won in DOTS)

I don't know if I should say that but I am scared that maybe SM has stopped trying with her because somehow she's lost her "reputation" because of SNS. Cause when she was still in F(x) she had several roles. It cannot be that hard to give her even a small role in a drama. I don't know, maybe she's the one who doesn't want? But she recently said she's serious about acting now. I just want to see her back on screen again soon and I have a feeling she's taken time to learn acting and I'm sure she's improved enough to be casted in a serious movie with Kim Soohyun so she might even surprise netizens now. And tbh she was never that bad before.

Korean people even those who hate her still agree that she's one of the top visuals. She has so much potential to bring them money and become big if only they promote her properly. And her dating life or controversies couldn't stop her if she got the right role just look at Hyeri and other celebrities who turned the public opinion on their favor. She doesn't seem to like to play the docile idol game anymore so maybe SM is punishing her for it. I've heard their contracts are over this month too. We'll probably be fixed soon.

I don't think you guys need to worry about SM letting her go, I don't get that vibe at all. They have been flexible with her health and leaving f(x) and all that, why would they start 'punishing' her now? Especially when they'd make more money not punishing her.

 

The vibe I get is that Sulli is taking this new career slowly while leaving time to enjoy her new found freedom (whether that is a good business move or not). If Sulli really wanted more roles, then I think she would say something. Publicly.  She still does a lot of photoshoots, and her reputation isn't ruined imo. Just like the IU hate died down, the Sulli witch-hunt will too.

the drama only has 2 actresses, i guess she'll have some. 

Pirates: mini role. screen time is around 5 minutes

Fashion King: lead role. screen time is around 20-25 minutes

 

So i guess she'll get around 10-13 minutes this time
