B started acting, overtook A in popularity.

I can't see it being Girls' Day or SNSD to be honest and with the clue that both are looking into new agencies - it must mean their contracts are up for renewal this year or next.

It can't be RV because Joy's drama hasn't premiered yet and the blind item says B's drama made her surpass A in popularity

 

It's not SNSD because Yoona was the first actress and she is still the most popular among the acting line

 

Seolhyun is still the most popular and she did not get popular because of a drama

 

The rest of them are possibilities but i'm leaning towards After School

None of AOA has had good reviews in acting, sadly. Mina had a few, but so small roles they don't count as popularity.

It's not AS. Acting-wise, Nana is not more popular than Uee. Nana always had a bigger international fandom though.

Hmm the only ones I can think being realistic guesses are Girls Day and After School. I don't it's girls day since they still have group stuff to do but I can see it being after school since they're pretty much done, it'd be better decision for Uee and Nana to get into different careers while they still can.

UEE acted first, got praised and got popular then Nana comes after few years, also got praised and overtook UEE in terms of popularity while UEE popularity went downhill.

 

I only know 2 groups who got acting members, AS and Girls Day but in the end of the day, nobody knows but themselves and people near them
