Joji. 5,062 Posted March 6, 2017 Share Posted March 6, 2017 OK so I'm sure we ALL remember when Navillera dropped and people thought the intro sounded suspiciously like legendary K-bop The Chaser: Even the song as a whole gave me serious Infinite vibes, with its bright 80s synths, heavy drums and use of electric guitar (though other GFRIEND songs have had electric guitar parts). And now GFRIEND have dropped another seemingly Infinite-inspired bop with Fingertip: Of course I don't really think Source Music is looking to Infinite for musical inspiration, but I just think it's interesting how GFRIEND are sort of evolving into the female Infinite, with their 80s-inspired songs and hard-hitting choreo. I'd honestly always hoped Lovelyz would be the female Infinite, but I guess Woollim thinks otherwise.. IMO destiny sounds so much like infinite music, i mean only Woollim can make that kind of song. I agree with the users above saying Gfriend are like KARA Idk, I listen to Lovelyz regularly and I don't really hear Infinite. Destiny is the closest they've got to the Infinite sound however. Lovelyz have great choreo but I just wish Woollim would give them a more hard-hitting concept. Though maybe that's their concept, to be 'lovely'. So Sungjin, the boss of GFriend, thinks Eunha is the greatest of all so she will get her first solo. I think that Yuju will probably bolt the moment her contract runs out in 2022. I agree with the users above saying Gfriend are like KARA No, but i agree that if woollim went for that , Lovelyz would've been in a better position tbh.. Gfriend CEO did talk about being inspired by INFINITE's and teen top powerful dancing/ synchronization in an interview so i wouldn't be surprised if he did get some inspiration music wise...
