Can someone explain me about YT views?

Let's start this way,Gfriend came back with navillera on summer and we buddies were all streaming it like crazy, the song hardly reached 1M views after 24 hours on 2 channels combined. Groups who had huge ass international fandom could get around 2 or 3 million views on first day. Average groups who usually do well but aren't on top, could somehow reach 1M views in 3/4 days. But I feel like as of very late 2016 and start of 2017 everything changed. Groups who are huge internationally can reach 10 million views a day? A group like gfriend who isn't that big internationally can is leading to 3M views (a little more or less) and mid tier groups like gugudan or lovelyz can get around 1M views in a day?

This has somehow made the YT views achievement less important to me that I'm not even so happy over what my bias achieved. Can anyone explain what is going on?

so u want the views to stay the same

this obviously shows that fandoms are more dedicated and expanding which is a good thing

Youtube views don't matter, one of Korea's most successful song by busker busker named cherry blossoms which re surges every spring only has 14 million views yet it is one of the most downloaded songs out there. Meanwhile groups with no public recognition beat that easily.

It depends honestly, Gfriend has the public which will support them but they aren't going to be mass streaming all day, though Gfriend has a good fanbase so they may not necessarily get big views but they accumulate slowly over time.

So... your faves are getting more views right? Congrats? What is the problem here idgi?

As I said,I don't really care for increased views of my bias since almost everyone, from mega successful to average or even nugu has increased. This is just a bit weird to me.

The views have hugely increased for every single Korean group. I once thought Kpop has gotten bigger but still,I can't believe Kpop can grow a lot over few months.

Have you see berry good youtube MV view count? nugu groups will stay nugu if no one is watching it.

Please stream this BOP ...

and LOOΠΔ too

Ask Armys. They know know to manipulate, how to create massive accounts, how to mass likes, how to stream on the same video using different web browsers. Basically they know how to cheat on YouTube.

It's easy, more people use youtube. There are a lot of western songs with 1,000m of views, in the past (4-5 year ago) this would be very very difficult.

The views for everyone are increasing.

Another reason is that kpop is getting more global.

This was an early 2016 release though. Even Berry Good had a huge progress. Their new song don't believe reached 1M views in less than a month and are leading to 2M now but u see their old releases still have around 500/600K views. Really weird TBH.

That's a weird mentality to have since it seems like you were basically hoping only Gfriend would improve in YT views which is not possible. Beside nugu groups still struggle to have 100k views a day so..

What are you talking about?

This one is 1 month ago and only have 87k views

Show me where the 1M view from them, the most 1 see is 600k and it's 5 months ago, now their fandom is increasing but still not by much.

i do kind of get what youre saying. In a span of 24 hours newer groups can achieve 10 mil in a day (which is a big feat post-YT view change). But there could be a plethora of factors as to what leads to such big views. Examples of the few i can think of

  • group has many casual fans in addition to their own. This will lead to many different people checking out their MV and can lead to a boost of views. I'm thinking Big Bang in this case. They have their own big fandom but theres also a lot of casual fans who would tune in to watch their new MV
  • more people using YT. I'm not entirely sure but maybe since YT is still a "achievement" in terms of views this could have forced people who watched the MV on different platforms to come watch it on YT.
  • And as always bot. People dont want to admit it but i dont think YT will ever be separated from bots. And considering how rabid some fans can be...there will always be bots

honestly im not sure why you wouldnt be happy?

There are plenty of nugu groups that can't get a lot of views but to my knowledge, Loona is a special case. They haven't debuted yet, right? They haven't promoted that song on music shows. The whole group doesn't even appear. Wait until they actually debut to gauge how many views they can get.

Did i said otherwise? Why are you arguing with me?
