[+386, -65] I'm floored that Mamamoo would use this opportunity as media play ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ 3. [+383, -98] It's actually pathetic that Mamamoo's reps would think this is an opportunity to media play themselves as a good example ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ as if their racist act was any better ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ 4. [+32, -7] Kang Dong Won and Mamamoo's cases are different. Kang Dong Won was basically brainwashed by his grandfather about his family history while Mamamoo's scandal came from their ignorance. I guess they both have in common that their scandals came from a lack of education but there's a difference in ignorance and in Kang Dong Won's case, finding the truth after his brainwashing. I'm not saying Kang Dong Won handled his scandal properly. His great-grandfather's past is undeniable and it was wrong of him to use his grandmother's past to try and absolve himself of that but Mamamoo comparing themselves to Kang Dong Won as a better way of handling scandals is nothing more than media play. 5. [+22, -5] It's hilarious that Mamamoo is being like this when they haven't done anything right either.. 9. [+11, -7] I heard that it was Mamamoo's fans who stepped up in the first place. Their fans were the ones who notified their agency the problematic nature of the blackface which led to their agency to apologize right away and edit it out of their concert. It makes no sense for them to draw attention back to a controversy I'm sure they want calmed. If this is indeed done by them, they failed all logical behaviour. The comparison is also weird. I doubt you're missing anything. This is Nate - it's just some knetz bandwagoning the scandal du jour and trying to fan the flames in any way they can cause they like watching things burn. I doubt they really care about either issue. Neither does the person who wrote this - they just want clicks. They give MAMAMOO full artistic freedom and allow them to have a huge input in what they do. They are super fast with fan feedback and involvement. That's why it's weird for me that they would do this.
