Edit : yay someone posted an article, time2copypasta Lana Del Rey favourites unpleasant tweet aimed at LordeTweet included picture of bracelet made of pins Lorde has been somewhat critical of Del Rey in the past, though she has since clarified her stance. The New Zealand singer said last year, "What really got me is this ridiculous, unrelatable, unattainable opulence that runs throughout." She added, "Lana Del Rey is always singing about being in the Hamptons or driving her Bugatti Veyron or whatever, and at the time, me and my friends were at some house party worrying how to get home because we couldn't afford a cab. This is our reality." Lorde subsequently tweeted saying, "Just because their songs aren't my reality (being 17 and from Auckland) doesn't mean I don't admire their musicianship and careers!" It seems Del Rey didn't take too kindly to the comments though, and her decision to favourite the tweet aimed at Lorde has prompted criticism on twitter. cr Also, yes, it's real, she did indeed fave the tweet, she did un-fave it though #pussymove. Lana is one of musical influences of Lorde. She even admitted it herself. and besides both incorporates suburban hip hop. cheap imitation? More like better music. Both people in this 'feud' have personalities that don't really seem like people I'd want to hang out with even though both are talented no matter what their fans would say about one side or the other.
