i just get tired because i know even though my fave has reflected, apologized continuously, showed major personal growth in regards to his fuckups, and even suffered death threats (which canceled a hi touch event due to their severity), people will still bring him up whenever any other group fucks up because ppl think he's the definition of problematic in the idol community. it's super exhausting to know that bc ppl think he's ugly theyre gonna bash him the rest of his life over a couple shitty things he did 4 years ago.

whenever idols do something problematic and disappoint their stans i feel stans that supposedly stan umproblematic idols start talking out of their ass. You don't know this people and don't know when they will fuck up. Celebrating that someone may be not ignorant to a situation another fail to see, just seem pretty self indulgent: Look at me stanning my woke fave, but if he/she fuck up I don't own him/her even do his/her mistake could come from a place of ignorance, gonna look for a new one that hasn't fuck up yet.

you're wrong about this! i feel proud of stanning Jonghyun because, for example, when he did a mistake he DMed a fan himself asking to be educated and learned why it was wrong. i really admire that in a person

it's a general thing I see in a lot of places, specially twitter and tumblr and decide to talk it in OH bc..well it's a forum

I know a lot of idols are educated about this issues, it's just the way people (fans) bring them up when some others fuck up that seem insincere or calculatingly convenient

There's no unproblematic person. Pretty sure Mamamoo stans boasted about them being pure queens before their issues too so..

Just remember that they're human and they're gonna fuck up. If they keep on doing it then yeah there's a problem.
