Yes, let's compare $0.03 digital downloads to $20 physical cd's and $1.20 digital downloads.

If you apply the same logic to boy groups Big Bang would be the 7th best selling boy group of all time with ~50 million digital downloads...

They probably have because of how cheap digital songs are in Korea. The list isn't necessarily inaccurate but like Slacker said, it's unfair to compare $0.03 digital downloads in Korea to $20 physical cd's and $1.20 digital downloads elsewhere.

If this is from Wiki, then it is not legit. Anybody can just edit and put whatever out there. Wiki isn't a reliable source. EVER.

While it may be true that anyone can edit wikipedia, most pages are monitored by trusted editors and in some cases even locked to prevent vandalism. Wikipedia is generally a good way to find information but you should always keep in mind it could be manipulated. I call it "having a bullshit filter". Just apply common sense to what you read and filter out the bullshit.

In this case, the "sales" are sourced back to sites like Allkpop, Soompi or whatever but there is no receipts for these numbers. The editors most likely don't know this and view the source at face value. Also, like I said earlier, $0.03 digital downloads are not comparable to $20 physical cds and $1.20 digital downloads.

That topic is read by more than 100.000 people so If there was anything wrong with it like you said anybody could just edit it.

p.s: "anybody" is wiki members and wiki members are mostly trustworthy people.
