Is G-Dragon's new Live DVD going released in Region 2 coding for the UK?

Really want the new DVD but I only see it in regions 1 & 3.

Surely it'll be on region 2 somewhere right?

Or is there UK devices that play those regions?

(Don't know if this is the right place for this so move it if needed)

You can buy the Japanese version:

I'm not sure, but there are region free DVD players on the market. It'll set you back around 50-80USD on Amazon from the looks of things. If you plan on buying lots of international DVDs it might be an investment worth making~

The Japanese version costs so much more than the Korean version, I guess I'll wait and see if I can find it cheaper somewhere.

And I just realised it doesn't say anything about English subtitles on the Japanese version :(. Why can't it just be region-free and be so much easier

If you install VLC player (it's freeware) on your computer you can probably play the DVD with it as it comes with built in codecs, so you don't need to touch your computer's country region settings. Then just hook your computer to your TV. That's how I watch my Korean concert DVDs that aren't region free.

The DVD drive on my laptop has rpc2 protection so VLC won't work, the region coding is in the actual drives hardware not software in the OS :(, I guess I'll have to pay the £20~ extra, I just don't know if the Japanese version has English subtitles. Gah! Why's it so hard!

YG artists' Japanese DVDs don't ever have English subtitles.
