Ginger91 195
I found a recipe for like a rice topping or some shit. Just marinate an uncooked egg yolk in soy sauce for 24 hours then put it on top of some warm rice and eat it. My mom advised me against eating it but I really want to eat it

Cheshire Cat 2,441
Just make the rice really hot if you're worried, it'll slowly cook the egg + The chances of getting salmonella are really low if you live in a country with high health standards regarding egg production. Thigh-high feminist 15,771
Warm rice? Really?! It should probably be over hot rice to cook the yolk. I've never heard of warm rice, but maybe someone else has. I wouldn't take a chance. If you're in America, use hot rice, our yolks are sketchy. petal 1,130
If you do decide to eat the egg raw then you should wash the outside of it first just in case it has anything on it that could go in when you crack the egg. It's not likely you'll get sick from pasteurized eggs from America tbh
