It was no intention of mine to come off as a know-it-all. She asked a question, I answered, then it escalated into this mess and she's making me look like I'm some Korea/weeaboo that feels entitled to everything Asian. She even had the nerve to post old selfies of me from my blog from 5 years ago. Part of that is my fault since I was the one who posted those, but still she got be feeling petty AF. I'm not familiar with the Power Ranger anything since I stopped watching it when I was 8 but if what you're saying is correct and that a specific character is not defined by race then how is it exactly white-washing character-wise? Idk situations like Aang and Goku is blatantly Asian that it's obvious white-washing. Tumblr was having this thing where they have celebrity guests take questions, yesterday it was with the cast of the new Power Ranger movie that's coming out in a few weeks. That's when she asked (but not really actually ask the cast, I think she just made a post to attempt to make a point) "Yeah, I do. Why is your Rita Repulsa a white woman in barely-concealed yellowface?" and so casually, I answered that it's not yellowface because Rita isn't Asian it was just the original actresses that played her that were Asian.
