Maks.K 3,874
Hi guys. So far I was watching and listening only Korean pop groups. I want to meet with Korean rock groups, with pure folk and folk-oriented (like folk-rock) groups. Can you provide me with names or links?
Leicester 3,853
If you're looking for Korean folk songs, this youtube channel might interest you. I use it to look for new songs myself It doesn't have only folk, I have found some rock songs there as well.
warukatta 6,359
I don't really know like K-rock groups with pure folk music but if you want you can check out these K-rock/indie rock bands: Nell (check out all their albums!!!) and Delispice maybe also check out Hyukoh (indie pop/rock) For (acoustic) folk then 10cm my forever fave from them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KewM4ZzFLJY

Flicked through all 217 tracks - found several nice ballads, several great voices, but almost no rock and no folk (at least no folk sound). I compared several albums and I like that they do experiment with sound. Delispice - 50/50. Hyukoh - yes, this is my kind. Love the voice, the mood, the music. Especially "Comes And Goes". Superb! 10cm - sound is tasty, but is it folk? it sounds modern. Thank you.

Check 'em out. The song that I recommended isnt really up the~folk~ alley but 10cm is definitely an acoustic folk duo. You should definitely check out their early albums like 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. Also their second EP. They have lots of great stuff! Hmmm. Maybe check out OKDAL as well. They're described as indie-folk. Actually, if you want, go to http://www.doindie.co.kr/en/genres/Folk for more artist recommendations and/or visit koreanindie.com for Korean underground/indie music recs :-)

Chau Chau is most viewed track and it is cool. Thank you for more links. Will check them.
