Do you often go swimming?

I used to love to swim as a kid, would go super far when swimming at the beach, etc. But after taking swimming lessons when I was 10ish I stopped enjoying it. I also have sensitive skin and end up itchy after swimming both on pools or ocean.

Yeah, I do not swim daily but twice or thrice a week in every season. Here it isn't that common to snow (last year we had quite a good one though) or the weather to be that cold but I think it's kind of irrelevant as you will be swimming indoors.

I guess it depends on the person and their tolerance to cold but the water should be regulated at a certain temperature and at most you would only struggle when you're getting out or into the pool; but when you're swimming you shouldn't be having any problems. So it all depends on the water temperature. To me it's perfect between 25°C and 27°C, this can vary depending on the season and the temperature outside the water; but during summer at 27.5° or 28° I find the water to be too warm to swim intensively and you can feel like suffocating but in winter I guess 27° or 28° could be a good temperature too swim at a moderately pace.

On the other hand if it's below mid 20s it can be too cold, specially for kids, elder people or someone who isn't very good at swimming who aren't able to swim continually. So your proficiency level also matters a little as if the better and faster you are will allow you to warm up your body faster. The coldest I've ever swam during winter indoors has been 20°C one time I tried to swim below that and had to get out of the pool as it was too damm cold for me. I had been swimming for half and hour without stopping trying to elevate my heart rate in order to heat my body but I just couldn't get rid of the cold. My face and entire body was tingling the whole time and I wasn't very comfortable.
