YG needed a rapper to make his "Female Big Bang" girl group, so he choose CL! Among all the 2NE1 songs, she only wrote the rap for 6 songs( with Teddy) , even Hyuna and LE wrote more rap than her! LE is on another level, but people keep understimating Hyuna, when she's better that CL! CL is just about her fierce image, Minzy was definitely the most Talented in 2NE1! What do you think!? You don't have to have a history of rap making pre-debut to be a rapper Then again i'm not really surprised since you probably are one of those people that undermine the abilities of idols in the big 3 and try to overlook their accomplishments to suit your underdog preference. That doesn't mean she doesn't have rap skills. And she wasn't just made to rap by YG. Her favourite artist before was Teddy. She had P-Type teach her rap. She doesn't like being called a rapper because she has so many other things to show besides that. She's not bad but she's not the best rapper in the korean idol scene. Unless they really decide to work on a field post their idol career, like say actress or in GD's songwriter/producer.
