I know some people who think Huppert could pull it off, but Stone is too likeable (and young and hot) for them to pass up especially for a BP winner. StarShapedGummy 11,380 Posted February 26, 2017 Author Share Posted February 26, 2017 i just really dont understand the la la land backlash. it is an amazing film and unique at least in modern times. the musical is original and the music is just amazing. the story was not anything remarkable, but the way it was told was. it will definitely win score, cinematography and best original song. very highly likely to get best picture and best director. decent shot at original screenplay and emma stone winning an award as leading actress. it should also garner most of the technical awards. the only real major award it won't win will be gosling for his performance as lead actor.
