It also depends on the cultural context and the artistic wave of the time (Do you know Pollock? You can see a lot of scribble, but this guy faced many criticisms for his art not being the usual of the time. He represented a cultural revolution where things could be abstract) It's hard to explain, but this photographer was very expressive (Nowadays, there is a sexual revolution and maybe his art represents that. Due to other obligations, the photographer wasn't supposed to help the child and she died and the vulture ate her. The photographer commited suicide months later. I thought it's uncertain what the fate of the little girl was? She could have been helped by someone else, hopefully. But yeah, the photographer committed suicide because he couldn't deal with the fact that he probably left the child to death and be eaten by vultures, it haunted him so much that he couldn't live with his guilt anymore.
