They're pitted against each other by fans---and you can also feel it in the comments' section. My friends and I notice how JK and Jimin comments disappear all the time on YouTube. Literally you see them with hundreds or thousands of likes one moment, and then deleted after a few hours. It's really weird. Lol. Are you implying that there are always fan wars between JK and JM stans in the comment section? I do notice them sometimes but I'd still find more harmless comments focused on each of them separately than ones pitting them against each other.
