What is your opinion on euthanasia? Do you accept or reject it?

Euthanasia is the act of deliberately ending a person's life to relieve suffering.

For example, a doctor who gives a patient with terminal cancer an overdose of muscle relaxants to end their life would be considered to have carried out euthanasia.

Assisted suicide is the act of deliberately assisting or encouraging another person to kill themselves.

If a relative of a person with a terminal illness were to obtain powerful sedatives, knowing that the person intended to take an overdose of sedatives to kill themselves, they may be considered to be assisting suicide.

TBH I had always felt conflicted about this issue. In some cases, I feel as though it's completely alright but then I'd always end up thinking that we're not Gods. It's never right for us to take the life of someone else.

Your thoughts?

if you're going to die anyway and you're suffering, why should you be forced to continue living in pain? it's one thing if it's a mental disorder such as depression that can be changed with the aid of therapy and medication, but to keep a terminally ill person who doesn't want to live anymore alive seems more cruel than ending their life.

By the way guys, Euthanasia is not always about someone who's suffering from pain. It could also be people who are in a coma and no longer has a chance of awakening. Sometimes, Euthanasia is performed on these people with the consent of the family to alleviate the family from spending so much money for hospital fees etc.
