What I remember is that there were two main ladies (who were authors iirc) who were kinda like frenemies who liked the same guy and they went to a woman who said she has an elixir of life, they both took it and that elixir of life made them basically not die at all no matter what happens to them. Their bodies would fall down the stairs and break and they would put it back again. In the end the dude left them both and married someone else and lived his life and died from old age. The last scene is of the two ladies in his funeral.
