My favorite was Jinho so I was a little disappointed with the new cast but after watching the episodes 0 and 1 I'm happy because I really like them.

 

About the case (if you don't want spoilers don't open it):

 

I really like the guest, he was good at acting but too much evidences against him, poor. I was convinced it was him but I didn't want him in jail. Anyway, I'm glad he will be again in the next episode.
And the new assistant is really cute. The next case seems funny and, I think the guy that appeared is the same guy in Knowing Bros and the guy in the Sakari-chan case (I forgot his name).

Oh yeah, the new assistant seems to take a much more active role now, I'm glad! Or is it just because the detective included him? And can't wait for the next episode, I can see all the possible ships now

The raw contains two commercial brakes that srt does not take into account, so they become out of sync with the video. I resynced the sub for parts that don't match the video:

 1:11-1:29 resynced + 1:29-end part resynced

 

Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how sync it so that it would all neatly be in one file with online converter. So the original srt is good till 1:11, then you have to use the 1:11-1:29 file for that time period and then 1:29-end file till the end. That's the best I could do with it.

If you use Gom Player, it can fast forward the subtitle. For the first commercial brakes you need to ff it to be+60s, and the second one to be +120.5s. But seems like after 1:36:26 the subs suddenlt stops there eventho they still have conversations left.

I'm so glad all the main casts could guess the culprit right. For the starter, it's really a good sign.

I thought that ODK had a number of awkward and confusing sentences and some choice or terms is questionable. Generally the subs were meh.

Solid first episode, though by no means spectacular. Apart from Jin and Jiyoon (who are like an old married couple now), the cast seemed somewhat reserved – understandable given it was the first episode, but also I think because this particular case required some sensitivity as it was running parallel to actual political activity. They'll get better. I enjoy it most when they break character and troll each other, and the cases that stray much further from reality definitely allow for that. Eunji will warm up soon, but god I miss Hani.

 

For the record, I guessed right.

I quiet enjoyed the 1st ep, watched raw first and didn't get much, just got a feeling Eunji looked tired and was still reserved as some of the new cast. But after sub, i thought it's just her in her character. It's so funny when she and Jiyoon 'attack' each other lol The Ji combo chemistry is still there, like some said they're like married lol I love how Jin director didn't change about his tactics, it's hilarious and fascinating at the same time. what i didn't expect was Sehyung, he's sharp and could notice 'odd' behavior and speech from others which is great and i'm curious to see how he performs as detective. Jihoon wasn't really present in the ep or maybe it's the editing but i felt he didn't do much as detective. Jaerim is hilarious, his acting is great, i'm glad he's in 2 two eps.

The case in all didn't wow me, it was kinda predictable and they make the clues towards the murderer quiet obvious and one with a minimal sense would eliminate and figure out the criminal. Hopefully the next case will offer more twist, which seems to be the case ^^

I would like for Yang Sehyung to remember that he's a comedian next episode and joke. I get that he wants to solve the case and all, but Dongmin somehow managed to do both at the same time.

BTW I read before that there are 2 assistant detectives this season but on episode 1 there's only one and he's my super handsome Minggyu from ICSYV. Any words on the other one?

agree that some casts still a bit reserved. eunji was sick that time, she got bad flu, and she's in middle solo promotion too, she isnt as sharp and witty as when she's healthy, but she's doing good in guessing how her husband killed. i dont get the joke that usually always here and there in CS 1 and 2, i love how hyun moo and dongjin throw jokes everywhere, hyun moo with his non sense jokes, and dongjin w/ his sarcasm, and even i cant feel presence of jihoon here, maybe because he's detective. i dont really like jiyoon in this episode, she often cut another casts whenever they speak and giving their argument. maybe because it's her role character. jang jin is the winning in this episode for me tbh. his performance is always consistence. for the guest, jaerim doing good.

i think its a solid 1st episode. i can see a lot of potential of it getting better moving forward. tho i think it still not fair on how much evidence they put on criminal. i guess d criminal easy this time. the casts so far 'not bad' only if im not still salty about jinho n dongmin lol

 

has anyone notice the new detective assistant is the police officer in drama signal. he has small role in there but i still manage to remember him. plus he appear in i can see your voice season 4. wonder what happen to the previous assistant.

As happy as I am with Jiyoon being still in this show and Jihoon and Eunji being selected as the main cast for this season, I still really miss Hong Jinho & Jang Dongmin </3, the most brilliant minds in the variety world... like seriously, not only are they smart, but they're also entertaining at the same time and it's what made the show interesting for me.. tbh, I was really disappointed Hong Jinho wasn't part of the main cast this season... he was my favourite member in the first season and the 2nd season, it was him and Dongmin :/ anyway... i'm glad the first episode had pretty good ratings but hopefully Jinho & Dongmin will make guest appearances in the later episodes

 

As for the difficulty, i hope they make the next case harder to solve because if all contestants vote the same criminal, it takes out all the fun and shock

i tried loads of methods myself and the video in the /srt formate dnt work for me either... but i did  find and download an extension called hola VPN. u can use the extension of change ur VPN address to USA/mexico and view the video on ondemandkorea

i make the hardsub and remove all the commercial. Subtitle perfectly synced.
