Please give Eunji unnie chance this is her 1st time I think all cast have a same problem when joined this show for the 1st time not all cast is perfect..you make like just only Eunji unnie and yang seyoung its bit serious I think even hani and ns yoonji is also like Eunji unnie..beside of course she didn't want overboard bcoz she's naknae and still new if she's overboard ppl will said she's rude..

I think that Eunji was good in acting out her character realistically, probably because she's done quite a bit of acting herself? I think the main part that she was lacking in was the entertainment which must be there for variety shows. Probably because she's not too used to being on them? She definitely did try I guess (her and Jiyoon bickering) but other than that she seems fine

My own opinion :D

p.s. It's Yang Sehyung

I'm a new fan of crime scene. I finished watching the 2nd season this March, so I'm happy that I only have to wait 2 months for the 3rd season. I'm totally hooked on this show and it's so hard to conceal the excitement every time a new episode goes on air.

About the cast, as much as I'm impressed with jinho, dongmin and hani's performance, I'm fine with the changes. They might have scheduling conflicts or the PD just simply think new cast members will bring freshness to the show. From the first two episodes, jiyoon showed us how much of a veteran she is. She's great at portraying her characters and her deduction is always on point. Jang jin is very creative at connecting evidences and I think he's more open to different possibilities as last season there were times when he's too obsessed with his own theories that he failed to catch the criminal in the end.

Meanwhile, jihoon hasn't quite reach worker kim and sakarin-chan level, though maybe that's due to the role he was playing so far. He did try his best to drive the accusation towards jaerim but in the end the evidences against him were too strong. I believe he'll get better.

I love eunji so much and I'm overjoyed when she was announced as a permanent member. She was ill during the first episode and not very active but still managed to correctly deduce who the culprit was and how the victim was killed. She got a lot better in the second episode, both in her portrayal and reasoning. However, I think she still lack confidence to express her opinion. When the casts were debating about how the culprit would unlock the phone, she was the only one that realize about the use of the victim's fingerprint and even said that the password isn't important. I watched several variety show which she guested and I know she has a confident and straightforward personality, so I'm surprised to see her backed down so easily and not pushing her opinion forward. I sincerely hope hani would be on episode four so eunji could appear alongside her. I think it would help eunji to have someone around her age on the show.

Sehyung is smart but I'm curious about people's opinion on his casting. Did a lot of viewers in south korea oppose it? He seemed to be burdened a lot to give a good performance. Like he's worried people will give him bad comments on the internet. Being the only comedian, the expectation on him is to be witty, funny but clever at the same time. He do needs to loosened up a bit. Hopefully he'll do that in the coming episodes.

I finished both seasons in December so I didn't have to wait too long either but it made the lack of my favourite members more obvious :(

Maybe the characters/cases are the main problem? Both cases seemed to be quite easy and more straightforward than the cases in the second season (e.g Park Kangnam) and the characters don't seem to be that much more interesting either, just typical wife + mistress, conflict with partner kind of story so maybe they didn't have much to expand on.

I also agree with you on the fact that Eunji doesn't seem to be trying to push her stand much. Probably because she's the maknae and thus she's less outspoken here.

Sehyung does seem to be quite burdened, possibly because of viewers, since he was quite pressured when he failed to catch the culprit as a detective in ep 2. I personally enjoy watching him on shows such as Infinity Challenge so I was looking forward to him on the show but I think that this show is a different type compared to those he's normally on, leading to the lack of comedy on his side

I agree that S2 was much more enjoyable.

Personally, I really liked the cast. I really do like Eunji and Sehyung a lot, way more than Jang Dong Min and Hani, but there's just something about the group dynamic and the way they add random ad-libs that I prefer S2 cast over S3

Like others have mentioned, S2 really had amazingly mind-boggling cases. Park Kangnam case was truly the most legendary case in Crime Scene so far.

About episode 6,

ahhh I got tricked lol. I thought the criminal was DJ Jang because they mentioned curfew and I thought that there must be a reason they set the story in the past (curfew).

Also, I really missed Dong Min and his amazing skills in finding clues omg ahmagahplz.png

BTW, just a random thought.. It'd be cool if the detective becomes a suspect and the detective assistant has to solve the case, since they seem to be involving him more this season.

btw, I'm actually really curious about the filming of crime scene. From what I've seen in season one and the last two eps of season two, they get a script right? But how do they have an explanation for almost every little evidence against them? If they made it up on the spot it might potentially turn on them? Also how long is the filming? At the end of season two when jiyoon was locked up it said 12 hours of filming? During the awards of season 2 dongmin mentioned standing in front of the pouch for an hour but in ep 11 that was only a few minutes long. Do they film from early morning or until early morning? It seems that they have more than 10 mins (at the beginning) and 3 min (at the end) because how could they find so many things in such a short time? Just wondering if anyone has ever wondered about these things or seen the cast members mentioning it somewhere before.

I think they got the script based on their point views, so they will know overall stories from their pov and what clues and evidences that will disadvantage them. Therefore, they can prepare before hand their reasoning and explanations, but they won't know about others.

I also kinda suspicious about time given at the 1st hunting clues, how come they found a lot of clues in such short time. The casts seriously did good job if the given time was really only 15 minutes. I will only make a mess and barely find a clue at that short time harharplz.png

I think they normally film through the night for 8-10 hours. And it's my understanding that they get info on their own character and what their character knows about other characters and on the clues that their character knows of. But there might be clues that their character isn't aware of too.

I think they made the first inspection time longer. I feel that they find way more clues now than they did before. I actually think that it's one of the reasons of the weird editing - too many clues appear early on.

ohh thanks haha. It must be really hard being on the show though, since they have so much to remember and the filming is long. I can't imagine being stuck in a place for hours just to solve a fake case. They are really amazing though, Crime Scene is like a drama+variety show in one, where a mistake can make you end up in jail (for like five minutes but still) I'm really curious how scripted it is and all though. Sometimes it feels like they know the criminal already but they have to continue looking for clues because of the show. It must be hard on the crew too, having to set up and put everything back to it's place after every search.

Thinking about all this makes me appreciate the show even more lmao.

Anyway I'm so glad Jinho is back omgomg

sorry for all the pointless opinions there's no where else for me to put all these and ask others [emoji28]

I just watched episode 7 and

the criminal was really obvious but I enjoyed the episode so much, mostly because they were really funny this time round. Praise the person who decided to use their real names lol I couldn't stop laughing at the beginning when Jihoon called out Jiyoon's name. Really enjoyed watching Eunji and Eunwoo as a couple(kinda). It was disappointing that they didn't tell us any more about the school serial murder so I was so happy when they announced it at the end haha. Also it was hilarious how they followed through with the paternity test results XD

Kim Jihoon was really a great choice. I recently rewatched season 3 eps and it seems that he's generally the funniest one (e.g. constantly commenting on sehyung and jiyoon's relationship when they were officers & the spy lmao). Eunji seems to be warming up to the show more, I think that when she started she treated it more like a drama than a variety show that's why she was constantly stiff? Yang Sehyung as the natural man was hilarious hahaha.

Detective Conan is back! I can't wait for next week omg it's a serial killer this time :D

btw about Jinho joining the cast, what about his prize money? He would definitely be last place unless he isn't caught as criminal every week (assuming everyone votes for the same person)

I was rewatching ep 7 and there are some things that I kinda wish they had explained

The biggest question I have is honestly why Eunji and Eunwoo even dated, married and had a kid. Eunwoo obviously never got over Jiyoon. Eunji was perfectly fine with the divorce as well so I just can't understand why they got married when there doesn't seem to be any love between them. It also kinda intrigued me how Eunwoo was able to remember that Sehyung had skewers even though he didn't know it was Sehyung at that time.

Of course, since it's just a show I guess it can't be helped either.

Even when Eunji was the criminal in earlier episodes, she kept finding evidence that draws attention to the other players. Thats funny. So it even helps her when she is the criminal herself.

Btw. the first guest Jaerim was also very good at finding clues.

And in S1, Hyunmoo was the specialist for finding clues.

Some players are "search specialists". laugh.png Eunji is definately one of them !!

Xiumin in season 2 was really good at finding things too haha. I remember being amazed at how he found things in the hardest places
