'Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms' is getting over 1 Billion daily views, will it be surpassed by another drama this year?

The drama is consistently posting over 1 billion daily online hits recently.

It's has already surpassed the recent record holder 'The Princess Weiyoung' by a large margin

 

Do you think there is a drama this year that has greater potential?

All I can say is Yang Mi Studio hit the jackpot buying the rights to make the drama. All the actors signed with her has a supporting role and are getting crazy recognition right now and this show is such a blessing for Mark Chao, no one is saying his wife is too good for him anymore.

 

I can think of 2 dramas that might surpass it this year, Tribes and Empires (whenever that comes out) and Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace (which I think is the most anticipated for the general Chinese audience).

omg i was watching this and dropped it... the show is pretty bad imo

these shows getting super popular is why chinese dramas can't improve.

 

I watched 4 episodes and I had to x out of that mess, maybe it got better later on?

anyways the qualities of these chinese dramas need to improve and they need to start writing on new things

Maybe this drama is good for only whom doesn't hate Chinese drama.

Looking at the graph, I feel bad for Starry Night, Starry Sea and Glory of Tang Dynasty. Both are fairly decent dramas, but I also dropped them to binge on after 3W3L finishes, so hopefully these two will pickup later as well.

I think it has a couple of contenders. Online views are increasing each year, but 3L3W is a great drama so I am glad it is getting so much recognition. General and I finished with 16 billion views and 62 episodes, while 3L3W already has more with less episodes and the drama keeps getting better. 

 

Like someone said Ruyi's Love in the palace has 80 episodes and a lot of hype

to be quite honest, the drama got a lot better but it's not thatttt great. But hey, chinese dramas and movies aren't that good in general so I'm not surprised.

Objectively speaking, Rise of Qin at number 9 is better drama in terms of writing and direction and it did live the standards set by their two previous series. However, it is a rather serious drama and just does not appeal to the young people today who just want relax and consume mindless entertainment. Same is true for the historical drama 于æˆé¾™, which has very good TV rating bur it only appealed to older people and made no splash online.
