Yea I've written a few papers that were 15 - 25 pages.

I am more worried about my topic choice and how i'm gonna go about gathering information through surveys and interviews etc. 

Finding info on the topic is also looking sort of worrisome

I didn't attend high school in the US so i don't know

It was either that are build a "unique" guitar from scratch, it has to play and work good, learn a song, and you have to play it in class.

I did mine about 6/7 weeks before it was due and it came to about 28+ pages. It went through several several several drafts with my mentor and it culminated into a dissertation/thesis presentation on my research. You got this, the key is to find a good support system (Friends, family, mentors) :D

I've done 2 already, 15,000 words for undergrad and 35,000 words for masters... never ever ever again, hell no!

You are doing your undergrad dissertation at 18 years old?    I'm in my final year of my undergrad and I don't think I have any to do until I do my master's, thank God because it sounds stressful af, I can't even bring myself to write my research papers and most of them are 4 pages long.

Oh I've never had to do surveys or interviews. 

 

But depending on your topic, google scholar & jstor are pretty useful.

Maybe even visiting the library of your closest university might be useful.

Yeah, I did that. I hope your mentor is a good one, because they really need to check it through and make sure you have a proper structure. I guess for your idea, it can develop and change, mines did... but don't leave it too late. Just do a lot of research and make drafts. Save of course, have multiple copies of it, don't want to lose anything. I did mines on the different styles of management for my business degree. Not sure when you got to do it by, but again don't leave it to the last minute, trust me.
