Do you have hobbies/interests outside of K-Pop?

I'm just curious, it's fun to find out what everyone else's life is like outside of the K-Pop sphere and see what they like.

Honestly, my hobbies are typically on the craftier and more artistic side of things; baking, cooking, sewing, some knitting, and some origami are what I really like to do. While I only took up knitting this year, I've been doing everything else for a good 5+ years. I can also play the flute, but ever since I quit band, I haven't been playing much at all. (I still remember how to play it tho)

I like being active too tho. I play lacrosse on the school team, and I do other things recreationally, like kayaking and hiking

I also really, really like languages! I'm studying Japanese and in school I study French too. Ever since I studied abroad in Japan last year I took a huge interest in languages, but even before then I just really like learning about cultures.

(If y'all want a Japanese language partner, hmu because I haven't been studying Japanese at all lately and I am in desperate need of practice  :rlytearpls: )

Oh ya, I also play JRPGs sometimes, and I'm a pretty avid Pokemon player. If someone could hook me up with a PS Vita and Persona 4 Golden tho I would love you forever  :rlytearpls:  :rlytearpls:  :rlytearpls:

My only interest right now is getting this damn dissertation out of the way so I can live my life FINALLY

I'm 18 and all my friends are in their last year of high school so our schedules hardly match

art

What kind?

Edit: And forgot to list my own, of course. Music, photography, jewelry making, baking, event planning (lucky that I get to do it as a career), and more recently, healthy eating. I used to just eat whatever in huge portions and not have a care in the world, but I finally woke up about 2 years ago. Now I wonder how I lived so long while basically poisoning myself with all the crappy food out there.

I like hiking and video games, I guess.

I love hiking, and I'm so happy I live in the NW so there's ton of gorgeous scenery to walk. There's this called No Man's Land, and it's basically just this massive field covered in like a foot of moss, it literally feels like you're walking on clouds <3

wow, you have tons of hobbies! i admire you :rlytearpls:

i like cooking savory meals because i am quite a foodie myself  i am not good with music, but i used to be part of a choir and i am good with beat! too bad, i can't play any instrument...

and i am good with math/logic. since i like games, i tend to excel in logic games. oh, I am quite far with Candy Crush Soda. I was up to 300 levels within 6 months only. I could complete 30 levels a month when i was playing Candy Crush often (like at least 2x in a day)

I play tennis, used to take private lessons for violin (10 years, but I quit this year... still play though), am a HUGE classics nerd (that's the Latin language, btw), and I do Science Olympiad.

In my spare time, I watch YouTube, play Pokemon, and on the really bad days, just sit and wonder why I'm alive.
